Installation Instructions
Enviro-Spike from Bird-B-Gone, Inc. is a low cost, environmentally friendly bird spike used to prevent large
birds from landing on  at or curved surfaces.
Enviro-Spike comes in 2’ (.61 m) sections and measures 5” (12.7 cm)
in width. The spike is made from a  exible UV protected polycarbonate plastic base with stainless steel pins. Enviro
Spikes come fully assembled and ready for installation.

PRIOR TO INSTALLING BIRD-B-GONE ENVIRO SPIKE. SPIKES ARE
SHARP. BE SURE TO WEAR GLOVES. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF
CHILDREN AND PETS. DO NOT INSTALL WHERE HUMAN PHYSICAL
CONTACT IS POSSIBLE.

-Ledges -Flat or Curved Surfaces
• Leave no more than 1” (2.54 cm) in front of or
behind the spike strips. Wider ledges may require
multiple rows.
• Enviro Spikes come in 2’ (.61 m) sections, for
smaller areas, cut the base with tin snips or wire
cutters.
1. Glue: Use a polyurethane outdoor adhesive.
Apply the glue along the center of the base,
press down onto surface until the glue “mush
rooms” up through the glue/screw holes.
2. Screws: Use wood screws to attach to wood
surfaces. Screw into pre-drilled holes along the
base.
3. Tie down: For pipes and other areas, secure
spikes with zip ties by wrapping the tie down
around the base and securing.
Make sure bird droppings and other debris is
cleared away. Use a disenfectant to clean the
area. Wait for the surface to dry before installation.
