It is suitable for the long-term storage of frozen food and can also be used for freezing fresh food, with a maximum recommended weight of fresh food that can be frozen per 24 hours of 10.5 kg (23 Ib) . The freezer has a temperature indicator light that will come on to show that the correct temperature has been reached for the thermostat setting being used.
