Stepbystepinstructions
Thefollowingstepsexplainhowtoassembleyourtreadmill.Pleasereadeverystep
thoroughly,andfollowthedirectionscompletelytoensurecorrectassembly.
1.ThereareimportantpartsenclosedinsideoftheStyrofoam,pleasecheck
Styrofoamcompartmentsbeforediscarding.Makesureallpackingmaterialsare
removedfromthetreadmilldeck.
2.Laythetreadmillonitsside.Makesuretherunningbeltispositioninthetracksof
thetwoBELTALIGNMENTROLLERundersideofthemachine(seeFig.1).
3.Then,placethetreadmillonalevel,flatsurface.
4.Insertthetwoliftpostsintotheirrespectivesocketsandsecurewithfourbolts
andwashersprovidedoneachside(seeFig.2).

5.Attachthehandlebarortheendofthehandrailstoitsholder.
Makingsurethatthenotchinthehandlebarorhandrailsfitintotheholder
channel.Donottightentheboltsyet(seeFig.3).

7.If,theunitwithhandrail,attachthebottomofthehandrailswithhandrailclampsto
thetreadmillframesecurewithoneboltoneachside(seeFig.4).Then,tighten

Thesafetykeyisrequiredtooperatethetreadmill(seeFig.7).Thesafetykeyshould
beusedasanemergencystopbyclippingthecordtoyourexerciseclothing.Be
suretoremovethesafetykeyfromyourexerciseclothingafteryouhavefinished
yourworkout,andplaceittothekey(NOTINUSE)positionforyour
convenienceorstoreinasafeplacetoavoidusebychildrenorpersonsunfamiliar
withthistreadmill.
Turnonthepowerswitchlocatedonthefrontofthetreadmill.Placethesafetykey
intothe"SAFETYKEY"positionontheelectronicspackageinorderfortheunitto
function.

withyourfeetontherightandleftstagingplatforms.

A.Afteryouturnonthepowerswitchlocatedonthefrontofthetreadmill,the
electronicswillscrollthroughwiththemessage''PLACESAFETYKEY''.The
treadmillwillnotfunctionwithoutthesafetykeyinplaceonthe"SAFETYKEY"
positionoftheelectronicspackage.Whentheunitisnotbeingused,thesafety
keyshouldbeconvenientlybeplacedonthe(NTOINUSE)pad.
B.Afteryouputthesafetykeyinplace,theunitwillscroll"MODE,USER1-
USER4".
C.Usetheorkeystoselectfromuser1throughuser4.Onceyouhave
madeyourchoice,press"Enter".Thiswillapplyyourpersonalinformation tothe
workoutyouareabouttobegin.

1.Plugthetreadmillintoastandardoutlet.Turnonthepowerswitchlocatedonthe
frontofthemachine.
2.Straddlethebeltwithyourfeetontherightandleftstagingplatforms.Placethe
SAFETYKEYonthe"SAFETYKEY"positionoftheelectronicspackageto
operatethetreadmill.

CAUTION:
Thedurationofyourexercisesessionisdependentonyourfitnesslevel.In
general,itisrecommendedthatyoumaintainyourheartrateinthetrainingzonefor
atleast10minutestorealizeanaerobicbenefit.Asyourfitnesslevelincreases,you
willbeabletomaintainyourheartrateinthetrainingzoneforlongerperiods:usually
between20and30minutes.
Whenfirststartingyourworkout,takethefirstseveralminutestowarmup,then
slowlyincreaseyourworkloadtobringyourheartrateintoyourspecifictraining
zone.Attheendofyourworkout,decreaseyourworkloadgradually,thenexercise
lightlyasa"cooldown".
Aerobicexercises,toachievethegreatestbenefits,shouldbeperformed3-5timesa
week.Itisimportanttoallowsufficienttime,atleast24hours,foryourbodyto
recoverafterexercise.
Yourtreadmillreliesonlowfrictionforpeakperformance.Thetreadmill'slowfriction
operationisdependentonkeepingtheunitascleanaspossible.See"Cleaningthe

Properbeltalignmentisalsoimportantforproperoperationofthetreadmill.See

TurnoffunitanddisconnectACcordbeforecleaning.
Regularcleaningisrecommendedtokeepyourtreadmillrunningatpeak
performance.
Beforeyourworkout,useadryclothtocleanthestagingplatform,exposedslider
deck,andunderthebeltasfarasyoueasilyreach.Thisremovesanydirtordust
whichmightenterthesliderareaandcompromisetheunit'srunningefficiency.
Tocleantheplasticparts,useamilddetergentandmakesuretheunitiscompletely
drybeforeoperating.Ontherunningsurface,useasoftnylonscrubbrush.Donot
usewatertocleanthebeltorrunningsurface,ortocleantheelectronicspackage.
Shouldwater,forsomereason,getontheelectronicspackage,immediatelyblow
drytheelectronicspackage.
Itisrecommendedthatyoukeepallliquidsawayfromtheunitduringoperation.
Spillageofliquidsontoorintothemachinewillvoidthewarranty.

Adjustingtherunningbelt
CAUTION:
Yourtreadmillcomeswithabeltalignmentgaugelocatedontheleftsideofthe
motorcover(seeFig.9).Theedgeoftherunningbeltshouldbeinthemiddleofthe
greenportionofthegauge.Ifthebeltedgeisinthegreenarea,thebeltdoesnot
needadjusting.Iftherightedgeisintheredportion,thebeltneedsadjusting
immediately.
Thebeltisproperlyalignedatthefactory.However,duringshippingandhandlingor
byuseonanunevensurface,thebeltmaymoveoffcenter.Therefore,itisimportant
thatyoucheckthebelt'salignmentbeforeusingthetreadmill.
Thecorrectalignmentofthe runningbeltiscriticalforthesmoothoperationofthe
treadmill.
DONOTALLOWANYONETOWALKONRUNNINGBELTDURING
THISPROCEDURE.
