Instruction Manual for the Radio Controlled Analog Talking watch
(USA-EURO Muti-Band)
Your Analog Talking Watch is a Multi-Band Radio Control watch.
It is able to pick up signal from UK, GERMANY, USA and JAPAN (60Khz only).
It recalls the Atomic Clock (which measures each second of time as 9,192,631,770 vibrations of a cesium 133 atom in a
vacuum) and gives time which is accurate to 1 second every million years. Your Radio Controlled Watch even
accounts automatically for daylight saving time.
You can set your watch to get UK, Germany, USA or Japan (60Khz only) signal asyou wish.
Automatic Time Setting
Your Analog talking radio controlled watch recalls your selected Atomic Clock signal automatically at 3:00AM every night. After
reception of signal it will show the official local time on the watch. Everything is done automatically. However, your watch can
also be manually set.

Your watch has many other features including an alarm and the option of an automatic hourly time announcement.
Please read the full instruction manual for details of how to set and use these functions.
Battery Power
The battery life will depend on how often you use the talking function. Please follow the Battery Replacement
instructions in this manual.

Receiving the time signal
Overnight position your watch face down on a flat surface near a window. The signal will be updated at 3AM. You can
test this using the reception status test described earlier. If your watch is unable to make contact with the radio signal,
it will continue to function in the same way as a standard watch. The time will then be corrected the next time your
watch receives the time signal.
Country Signal Selection
You can set your watch to receive either UK, Germany, USA or Japan (60 KHz) signals. When you select a new
country the watch will adjust to the local time. The second hand will run fast during the adjustment and then return to
normal.
Selecting the signal for UK, Germany, USA or Japan (60 KHz only)
1. Press S4 for 5 seconds while the watch is in the real time mode until the watch speaks "Set Alarm, Press 10 o'clock
butto n to set"
2. Press S4 another 3 times, until the watch speaks "Global signal selection, only when you visit these countries. Press
10 o'clock button to Set"
3. Press S3
4. After pressing S3, it says "Press 2 o'clock button to set, 8 o'clock button to confirm"
5. Press S1 to select UK, Germany, Japan (60 KHz only) or USA. (If you set to USA, you need to choose the correct
time zone from Pacific, Mountain, Central or Eastern).
6. Press S4 to confirrn after a new country has been selected.
7. After confirmation, the watch will set to the local time of the country that you have selected. Wait until the hands stop
fast running and resume to norrnal.
8. Now, your watch will show the local time of the country that you have selected. (It will adjust for summer and winter
time).
9. The watch will receive the local atomic clock signal automatically overnight.
Manual Signal reception
The watch must be set to the right country before it can receive the signal (see above).
Position the watch face down on a flat surface near a window.
While the watch is in the Real Time mode,
1. Press S3 until the second hand stops.
The second-hand of the watch will stop at the following reference points:
-7 o'clock for USA signal reception
-12 o'clock for UK signal reception
-12:01 for Germany signal reception
-5 o'clock for Japan (60 KHz Signal only) signal reception
(If the second hand is not at the positions stated above it may need re-calibrating. To re-calibrate refer to the section
under TROUBLESHOOTING later in this manual).
2. The watch takes about 5 to 14 minutes to pick up the signal. Wait until the watch has finished the signal receiving
procedure.
3. After the signal reception, wait until the hands stop fast running and resume to normal.
4. Push S4 once. If the reception was successful, the watch will speak "Country name" follow by "Time Updated". If the
reception failed, the watch will speak "Country name" follow by "Time Not Updated"
S1 Time Announcement
Press S1 to talk.
The watch will speak the Hour and Minute
S2 Date Announcement

Press S2 once to talk. I
The watch will speak Day, Month, Date and Year after a signal is updated.
There is no "Day Talking" function after a new battery is installed until it gets a first signal.

S3 Alarm
I
1. Press S3 once and the watch will speak the Alarm time that has been set
2. If the Alarm is turned Off, the watchwill speak "Alarm is Off'
S4 Reception Status
1. Press S4 once while the watch is in the real time mode
2. If the reception was successful, the watch will speak "Country name" follow by "Time Updated"
3. If the reception failed, the watch will speak "Country name" follow by "Time Not Updated"
(In some poor reception areas the sigrral may not up-date every night. Try moving the watch to a new location. As the
watch is very accurate it can miss a few nights updating without any serious loss of accuracy.)
Set Daily Alarm
1. Press S4 for 5 seconds while the watch is in the real time mode until the watch speaks "Set Alarm, Press 10 o'clock
button to set"
2. Press S3
3. The watch says "Press 2 o'clock button to set Hour, 4 o'clock button for minute, 8 o'clock button to confirm"
4. Press S1 to set the Hour and S2 to set the Minute
5. Press S4 to confirm after you have set the Alarm time
6. After confirmation, the watch will speak the Alarm time set
7. You can also check your Alarm time with by pressing S3 at any time
8. The Alarm will Beep for 30 seconds, press any button to turn off the alarm
9. The Alarm is a daily alarm, so it will alarm every day. To turn off the daily Alarm, follow the Alarm Off setting as
below.
Alarm ON/OFF:
1. Press S4 for 5 seconds while the watch is in the real time mode until the watch speaks "Set Alarm, Press 10 o'clock
button to set"
2. Press S4 one more time, the watch speaks "Alarm ON/OFF, Press 10 o'clock button to set"
3. Press S3
4. The watch says "Press 2 o'clock button to ON, 4 o'clock button to OFF, 8 o'clock button to confirm"
5. To turn OFF a daily alarm, Press S2. To turn ON a daily alarm, Press S1.
6. Press S4 to confirm
7. After a daily Alarm is confirmed to be OFF, the watch says "Alarm is OFF" when S3 is pressed.

Chime ON/OFF (Hourly Time Announcement)
(When the Chime is ON, the watch announces the HOUR every hour)
1. Press S4 for 5 seconds while the watch is in the real time mode until the watch speaks "Set Alarm, Press 10 o'clock
button to set"
2. Press S4 2 more times, until the watch speaks "Chime ON/OFF, Press 10 o'clock button to set"
3. Press S3
4. The watch says "Press 2 o'clock button to ON, 4 o'clock bullon to OFF, 8 o'clock button to confirm"
5. To turn OFF a Chime Alert, Press S2. To turn ON a Chime Alert, Press S1.
6. Press S4 to confirm
7. After a Chime alert is confirmed to be ON, the watch willannounce the HOUR every hour, on the hour.
Manual Time Setting
Use this function only when you travel to countries with no radio signal. Your watch must be reset to receive the radio
signal when you return to the UK, Germany, USA or Japan.
1. Press S4 for 5 seconds while the watch is in the real time mode until the watch speaks "Set Alarm, Press 10 o'clock
button to set"
2. Press S4 4 more times, until the watch speaks "Set Time, Press 10 o'clock button to set"
3. Press S3
4. The watch says "Press 2 o'clock button to set Hour, 4 o'clock button for minute, 8 o'clock button to confirm"
5. Press S1 to set Hour (take care to set it correctly for AM or PM).
6. Press S4 to confirm after you have set the Time
7. After confirmation, wait until the hands stop fast running and resume to normal.
Your watch is not able to set the Date, Day, Month and Year manually. The watch speaks this information only
when a radio signal reception is updated.
Not Receiving Time Signal
This may be due to:
-Being outside of the UK, Germany, USA and Japan (60 KHz) signal area
-Being in a built up area
-Metal objects blocking the radio signal
-Interfere by computer monitor or TV
Ensure that the watch is left by a window, as this gives the best reception, you may have to try different windows in the
house to see which is best. Please note that reception is always better at night. Ifyour watch is unable to make contact
with the radio signal, itwillcontinue to function in the same way as a standard watch. The time willthen be corrected
the next time your watch receives the time signal.
Battery Low Detection:
When battery is low, the second hand fast running and stop at 12 o'clock.
This is not a malfunction. The watch stops when battery becomes too low. Please replacethe watch with new battery after it goes
to a complete stop. Go to "Battery Replacement" for details.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
Your watch is a "cry delicate and precise instrument. Although uncommon, sometimes hard knocks or vibrations can cause the
hands to move irregularly, and therefore display the incorrect time, although the internal clock is keeping accurate time. You may
notice this if when doing a "manual signal reception" and the second-hand does not pause exactly at the reference point as listed on
the "manual signal reception" table (halfsecond deviation is acceptable) then the second-hand needs to be re-calibrated,
Re-calibrate the shifted second-hand:
1. Makc sure thewatch is running normally,
2. Holding S4-(8 o'clock button) for mote than 5 seconds until the watch speak "Set Alarm, Press S3 (10 o'clock button) to set"
3. Push S4 (8o'clock button) one at a time until the watch speaks "Second-Hand alignment, Press S3 to set"
4. Press S3 (IQo'clock button)
5. The second-hand goes to a new position and then stop somewhere before 6 o'clock
6. Press SI (2 o'clock button) one at a time until the second-hand points exactly at 6 o'clock 'positionand then Press S4 (8 o'clock
button) to confirm (the watch will stop for a while. Just wait until the watch resumes running).
7. After the-watchresume running, the second-hand is re-calibrated
Reset the watch

When watch hands do not match to the voice time, the watch has to be reset.
1. Make sure the watch is running normally.
2. Holding S4 (8 o'clock button) for more than 5 seconds until the watch speak "Set Alarm, Press S3 (10 o'clock button) to set"
3. Push S4 (8 o'clock button) one at a time until the watch speaks "Second-Hand alignment, Press S3 (10 o'clock button) to set"
4. Press S3 (10

5. The second-hand goes to a new position and then stop.
6. Holding S2 (4 o'clock button) more than 10 seconds and then release the button
7. Now, you can reset hands to 12o'clock. You can set hands fast spinning by holding S2 (4 o'clock button) again or stop the fast
spinoing hands by pressing S2 (4 o'clock button) once.
8. Press S2 (4 o'clock button) to stop the fast movement of hands before they are reaching the 12O'clockposition (suggest to stop
around 11:59:00)
9. After the watch is stopped, adjust the second-hand one at a time to move all hands align at (12:00:00) by S2 (4 o'clock button).
(if you accidentally go past the 12,start this process again.)
IO.Whenall hands are aligned at the 12O'clock position (12:00:00), PUSH S3 (10 o'clock button) for I second to confirm.
II.After confirmation, you need towait until the watch resume runoing and then you need to do the followings:
A. Set your watch to the right Signal and TimeZone (Only USA user requires Time Zone setting).
B. Set your Local Time manually (go to Manual time setting for details). You don't need to set to the exact minute and second.
But make sure HOUR and AM/PM are correct. Your watch will synchronize to the Atomic clock after it gets signal (the
reason to set time is to make sure your watch will enter signal reception at around 3AM local time).
12.Put the watch to a location where reception is possible. The watch will automatically initiatea reception at 3AM after receiving
a valid time signal, the hands move on to the correct time.
Battery Replacement
This watch uses a CR2032 type battery, trained jewellers or watch specialists should fit new batteries to avoid any
damage to the watch.
Open the watch at the back. Carefully remove the bottom, make sure you do not lose the waterproof seal.
Pick up the battery spring on the right.
Take out the battery and insert a new one (noting the polarity"+" is up).
Now push the battery spring down.
Before you put the case-back on again, make sure the waterproof seal is correctly in place.
The watch will not work after a battery is replaced until the following has been done.
Allhands (hour, minute and second hands) have to be moved to the 12 O'clock position (12:00:00) for initialising.
1. Press S1 until the hands move quickly. You can stop the fast movement by pressing S1 once.
2. Stop the fast movement before the second hand reaches the 12 O'clock position (11:58:00) by pressing S1.
3. Adjust the second-hand slowly to move it to the 12 o'clock position (12:00:00) by pressing S1. (Ifyou accidentally go
past the 12, start this process again.) .
4. When all hands are aligned at the 12 O'clock position (12:00:00), press 83 for one second to confirm.
5. After confirmation, you need to do the following:
B. Set your watch to the right country signal
C. Set your Local Time manually (go to Manual time setting for details). You oon't need to set to the exact minute
and second. But make sure HOUR and AM/PMare correct. Your watch willsynchronise to the Atomic clock after
it receives the signal at 3AM.
D. Put the watch in a location where reception is possible. The watch willautomatically initiate a reception at 3AM
after receiving a valid time signal. the hands move on to the correct time.

valid if you return it with the original receipt.
The guarantee provides you with the rights which arc inaddition to the consumer statutoryrights and therefore do not limit the
effect of these statutory rights.
Please note this guarantee does not cover breakages caused by accidental maltreatment. Batteries are not covered. A full complete
after sales service is available, afterthe guarantee expires at a nominal charge.
