1) Open your Internet browser and access http://192.168.123.254 (if the Easy Setup Wizard

does not pop out) and enter admin

2) If you see the Easy Setup Wizard, go to Advanced Setup. If no, skip this step.

3) Go to Configuration > Operation Mode > Select “AP Client” > Apply

4) After router reboots, go to Wireless > AP Client

Please have the following information from your main AP before proceeding.

Then enter the information, for example as shown below and click ‘Apply’

5) After router reboots, go to Wireless > Basic > Under Wireless Network, change the

Frequency (Channel) to the same channel as your main AP for example Channel 11 and

click ‘Apply’

your main AP vendor first

before proceeding.

6) Once reboot, go to Status > Under AP Client, you will see your main AP IP address which

indicate that the connection is successful and universal repeater has been setup.

7) Now, you can place the WNR1012 to your blind spot area to increase the wireless signal

range from your main AP.
