AUTO-PUMP,SYSTEM
1. Put the hose clamp overthe end ofthe auto-pump drainage hose bysqueezing the 2 tabs of the clamptogether, this willopen the clampto slide onto the hose.
2. Push the drainage hose over the auto-pump drainage outlet.
3. Push the hose clampover the outletto secure the hose.
4. Put the drainingend ofthe hose over anysuitable area where water can be emptied:a sink,drain or window. Be sure the water flows awayfrom the buildingor anyother
objectsthat could be damaged.
Note: The draining hose must not be put more than 10feet above the floor onwhichthe unitis standing.
AUTO-PUMP,SYSTEM Electricalplug

1.Takeouttherubberstopperonthemanualdrainhoseoutlet.
2.Positionthemanualdrainoutletdirectlyaboveafloor drainif possible.If not,usea 1/2-inchdiameterhosetodrain intoaplacelowerthantheunit.
Installing1/2-inchdiameterhose:
If thereisasteelor plastictip on you1/2-inchdiameterhose,it shouldbe removed.
1.Puta11/16-inchdiameterhoseclampoverthehose
2.Then,pushthehoseoverthe manualdrainoutlet.
3. Pushtheclampovertheoutletto securethehose
4. Putthedrainingendof thehoseoveradrainor suitableplaceforwaterto empty

Thepowerbuttonturnsonandoff.Whenyoupressthebutton,theunitbeginstooperateandthelightwillilluminate.
Humidity

Thehumidityfunctionwillallowyoutosetthedesiredlevelof humidityyouwouldlikefortheroom.Tosetit,usethe"-" or "+" buttontosetyourdesiredlevel.Theunitwillturnonautomatically
whentheroomhumidityishigherthantheselectedlevel.
Thehumiditylevelmaybesetbetweenlevel30-80.Theoperationaltemperatureforthisunitisbetween40°Fand95°E ifthetemperatureoftheroomfallsbelow40°F,theunitwillstop.This
helpstoprotectthecompressorinsidetheunit.
Note:Theselectedhumiditymayvary+,- 5%
Fan Speed
Pressthefanbuttontochangethefanspeed.
Defrost Light
If iceformsontheinternalcoils,thedefrostlightwilllightup.Thedehumidifierwillautomaticallygointoautodefrostmode.Thedefrostinglightwillremainonuntildefrostingiscomplete.Oncethe
defrostingiscomplete,theunitwilloperateagain.
Water Light
ifforanyreasonthewaterisrestrictedfromexitingtheunit,thewaterlightwillbelit. Reviewthetroubleshootingsectionofthismanualforpossiblesolutions.
Warning:Always unplugthe unitfrom the wall outlet before cleanin!!
If thefilterisdirty,aircirculationiscompromisedandtheefficiencyof thedehumidifierdecreases.
Werecommendcleaningthefilterapproximatelyeverything3 months,or whenconditionsmakeitnecessary.
Thisunitisequippedwithawashablefilter. Followthe instructionsbelowto removeandcleanit.

1.Onthebackoftheunit,removethefiltergrillebygentlypullingthehandletowardsyourselflThenpulloutthefilter.
2. if the filterisverydirty,washinwarmwater.Youcanalsogentlyuseavacuumcleanerto removethedustthat hascollected.
3.Allowfilterto drycompletely,theninsertbackintothebackof thedehumidifier.
4.Slidethefiltergrillebackontothe backof theunit.
Storage
Thedehumidifiershouldbedrainedbeforelongtermstorage.
1.Turnoff andunplugthedehumidifier.
