Fence Stain is a ready-to use
water-based formula designed to add color to vertical
wood surfaces such as fencing, arbors, trellises and
planter boxes. Renovator Fence transforms your fence in
minutes with vivid color that will last all season long.
Renovator Fence Stain is suitable for use on uncoated,
weathered wood fences. FOR EXTERIOR USE ONLY.

PRODUCT APPLICATION .
SURFACE PREPARATION
Protect any surfaces or shrubbery from overspray using drop
cloths where applicable. If overspray does occur, clean using a
mild cleaning agent such as Krud Kutter
®
Original cleaner and
water.
For uncoated fences, clean the surface using a deck brush to
remove any loose dirt and debris. For heavily soiled fences, use
of a deck or fence wash product is recommended to remove
mildew, mold, algae, fungus and moss. Let the surface dry.
For previously coated fences, all coatings should be removed
prior to application.
Allow the fence to dry completely before applying Renovator
Fence Stain. Dry times will vary based on wood species, fence
location and weather.
PRODUCT APPLICATION (cont) .
APPLICATION
For best results, use when outside temperatures are between
50ºF (10ºC) and 90ºF (32ºC) and when 24 hours of precipitation
free weather is expected.
Attach a garden hose to the back of the hose end sprayer with
the valve on the sprayer in the “OFF” position. Turn on the water.
Aiming away from the fence, move the valve to the “RINSE”
position to confirm water is flowing.
Stand about 2-3 feet away from the fence, rotate the valve to the
far right position and begin coating the fence. Product will flow
quickly. For best results, apply by moving your spraying hand
vertically up and down in front of the fence panels as you walk
along the length of the fence.
COVERAGE
One coat will cover up to 700 square feet per bottle. If a darker
shade is desired, wait until the first coat is dry before applying
additional product, usually about 1 hour.
DRY TIMES
Dry times are based on 70°F and 50% relative humidity. The
product to dry to touch in 15 minutes, to handle in 1 hour and can
be recoated in 2 hours. The coating will be fully cured in 24 hours.
CLEAN UP
Use mild soap and water.
STORAGE
KEEP FROM FREEZING. CLOSE CONTAINER AFTER EACH
USE TO PRESERVE THE PRODUCT.
