Each of the elongated shore cards show on one side a grass tuft
and a duckling. Arrange them in a big circle around the duckling
chips.Watch out that ...
they all show in the same direction
there are never two shore cards with the same duckling next to
each other.
Place mummy duck on the grass tuft of any shore card looking
towards the duckling on her card.
How to play:
Play in a clockwise direction. The player who is the quickest at
saying “Quack, quack,quack, hurry if not it’s a smack“, may start.
They try to find the same duckling shown on the card of mummy
duck.
They turn round a duckling chip from the center and compare this
duckling with the one on the card where mummy duck is.
Is it exactly the same duckling?
Great – you have been a great help to mummy duck. Take the
chip and put it in front of you.
Now move mummy duck forward one card in a clockwise
direction and it’s the turn of the next player.

Mummy duck is quacking and running round the pond.Today her
little ducklings are having their first swim.
As it is time to return home, mummy duck calls her little ones. But
who is who? Only the little tails are sticking out of the water!
Mummy duck has to look very closely …

Aim of the game:
Who will be the player to help mummy duck find most of the
ducklings she is looking for?
Preparation:
The round duckling chips each show a diving duckling: on one
side of the chip the duckling is seen from the front and on the other
side only the little tail is shown. Spread them with the tail side
showing up.
Shuffle them and get them ready in the center of the table.

La ronde des canetons
Un jeu de mémoire pour 2 à 6 joueurs de 3 à 6 ans.

Durée d’une partie : env. 10 minutes
Maman cane fait le tour de la mare en regardant ses canetons qui
sont en train de s’exercer à leurs premiers plongeons !
Quand l’heure est venue de rentrer à la maison, Maman cane
appelle ses petits. Mais comment les reconnaître ? On ne voit que
le bout de leurs queues qui sort de l’eau ! Maman cane doit y
regarder à deux fois ...
Contenu :
1 Maman cane
20 cartes-canetons
8 cartes-berges
1 règle du jeu
But du jeu :
Quel joueur va pouvoir aider Maman cane et trouvera le plus
possible de canetons ?
Préparatifs :
Les cartes-canetons rondes montrent chacune un caneton en
train de plonger.D’un côté de la carte,on le voit de face, de l’autre
côté, on ne voit que le bout de sa queue. Poser les cartes de
manière à ce que l’on ne voit que les bouts de queue. Mélanger les
cartes et les poser au milieu de la table.

Is it a different duckling?
Pity. You can not take the chip but have to turn it around again
and place it back where you found it.
Of course, everybody tries to remember which duckling was
shown on this chip.
Move mummy duck on to the next shore card,now it’s the next
player’s turn to search for the duckling.
Important: A chip just turned around can be uncovered by the
next player.
End of the game:
The game ends as soon as there are no ducklings left swimming in
the pond.The player with the most chips and therefore the player
who was an extra good helper for mummy duck,wins the game. If
you want you can celebrate the winner with the famous triple
fanfare: ”Quack, quack, quack“!
Game variant for bigger duckling searchers
Except for the following modification the game is played as in the
basic game.
Whoever finds the right duckling, moves mummy duck one card
ahead and immediately tries to find the next duckling.
The turn only ends when the player uncovers the wrong duckling.
Then it’s the turn of the next player.
In this way,with a little luck and brains quite a lot of ducklings can
be found in one turn.
