Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter
Door Locks/Trunk Release

Remote Vehicle StartF
Press and release the Lock button and
then press and hold the button until
the turn signal lamps ash to start the
engine from outside the vehicle.
After entering the vehicle, turn on the
ignition. During a remote start, the engine
will run for 10 minutes
Repeat these steps for an addition-
al 10 minutes. A remote start can
be extended once.
Press and hold the button until
the parking lamps turn off to
cancel a remote start.
Note: To change the remote lock, unlock, and
remote start settings, go to Remote Lock, Unlock,
Start in the Vehicle Settings menu.

Door Locks
To lock or unlock the doors, trunk and fuel door,
press the power door Lock/ Unlock button
located on the center of the instrument panel.
Note: To change the door lock and unlock settings, go to
Power Door Locks in the Vehicle Settings menu.
To open a locked door from inside, pull the inside
door handle to unlock the door; pull the door
handle again to open the door.
Trunk Release
To open the trunk, press the lower half of the
Buick emblem (A) on the trunk.

Press to unlock the driver’s door and fuel
door. Press again to unlock all doors.
Press and hold to lower
all windows.
Press and hold the
buttonF to lower the
convertible top.
Lock
Press to lock all doors.
Trunk
Press and hold to unlatch
the trunk.
Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm
Press and release to locate your vehicle.
The exterior lamps will ash and the horn
will sound.

Front Seats
A. Seat Adjustment
Move the horizontal control to move
the seat forward or rearward and to tilt,
raise or lower the seat.
B. Seatback Recline Adjustment
Move the vertical control to recline or
raise the seatback.
C. Lumbar Support Adjustment
Press the rear control to adjust the
amount of lumbar support.
The safety belt presenter will move the
front seat safety belts forward for easier
access after the doors are closed. The
presenter retracts once the safety belts
have been latched.

Head Restraints
Front Head Restraint Adjustment
To raise or lower a front head restraint,
press the button on the side of the
head restraint and move the head
restraint up or down.
To move a front head restraint
forward, pull the front part of the
restraint forward.
To move a front head restraint rear-
ward, pull the front part of the restraint
forward completely until the mecha-
nism releases and it returns to the fully
rearward position.

Rear Seats
Steering Wheel Adjustment
Rear Seat Easy Access
To fold a front seatback for access to
the rear seat, lift the seat release lever
on top of the front seatback and fold
the seatback forward. The seat will slide
forward automatically.
To raise a front seatback to its
upright position, lift up the seatback
until it locks. The seat will slide back
automatically.
Note: If the seat encounters an obstruction,
it will stop and then move in the opposite
direction.
Folding Rear Seats
1. Unbuckle the safety belt.
2. Press the button (A) on either side of
the trunk.
3. The seatback folds down automatically.
With the vehicle parked, push down the
lever on the left side of the steering col-
umn to adjust the steering wheel. The
steering wheel can then be moved up
or down and in or out. Pull up the lever
to lock the steering wheel in place.

Audio Steering Wheel Controls
DIC Controls
A. MENU
Press to display the Vehicle Information
menu (units, tire pressure, remaining oil
life, battery voltage) or the Trip/Fuel menu
(digital speedometer, trip odometers,
fuel range, average fuel economy, instan-
taneous fuel economy, average vehicle
speed, timer, navigation).
B.
Rotate the band to scroll through the
items of each menu.
C. SET/CLR
Press the button on the end of the lever
to select a menu item or clear a message.
Press and hold the button to reset a
menu item.

Push to Talk
Press to answer an incoming call or
to use natural voice recognition with the
Bluetooth or OnStar® system.
End Call/Mute
Press to end or decline a call.
Press to mute/unmute the vehicle speakers.
SRC Source
Press to select an audio source.
Next/Previous Favorite Station
Rotate the thumbwheel up or down to
go to the next or previous favorite radio
station or track.
Volume
Press + or to adjust the volume.

IntelliLink Infotainment System
Setting the Time
1. Press the Time button or CONFIG button.
2. Touch
Time and Date.
3. Touch Time.
4. Touch the screen buttons to adjust the hours and minutes.
5. Press the BACK button to exit the menu.
Storing Favorites
Radio stations from all bands (AM, FM or SiriusXMF) can be stored in any order.
1. Tune in the desired radio station.
2. Press the FAV button to display the page where the station is to be stored.
3. Press and hold one of the 6 numeric pushbuttons or one of the favorite screen buttons
until a beep is heard.
4. Repeat the steps to store another favorite station.
Natural Voice Recognition
Control the music source and make phone calls hands-free (after pairing your Bluetooth-
enabled phone) using the natural voice recognition system.
1. Press the Push to Talk button on the steering wheel.
2. The radio will say “Please say a command,” followed by a beep.
3. After the beep, say what you want it to do using natural speech.
Phone (using your paired phone) – Example command: “Call Amanda” or “Dial 555-1212”
Media Music Device Search (when connected to USB only)
Example command: “Play artist [name]” or “Play song [name]”
Radio control – Example command: “Tune FM 104.3” or “Tune XM Classic Vinyl”
Help – Say “Help” for voice recognition assistance
PANDORA® Internet Radio
Listen to personalized radio stations based on favorite artists or genres.
1. Download the Pandora app to your smartphone and sign in to Pandora.
2. Create a station on your phone to listen to a customized song list in the vehicle.
3. Connect your smartphone to the system by Bluetooth or, for Apple devices, by a
USB cable.
4. Touch the Pandora icon on the touch screen to access Pandora. A slight delay may
occur when loading a song or changing a station.
Voice Pass-Thru
Voice Pass-Thru allows access to the voice recognition commands on a compatible cell
phone; i.e. Siri or Voice Command. Visit my.buick.com/learn for more information.
To activate phone voice recognition, press and hold the Push to Talk button on the
steering wheel for 2 seconds.

OnStar® with 4G LTE and Wi-Fi®
Refer to your Owner Manual for important information about using the Bluetooth system while driving.
Before using a Bluetooth-enabled device in the vehicle, it must be paired with the in-
vehicle Bluetooth system. The pairing process is disabled when the vehicle is moving.
Not all devices will support all functions. Visit my.buick.com/learn for more information.
Pair a Phone
1. To use voice recognition, press the Push to Talk button on the steering wheel;
after the beep, say “Pair.”
To use the infotainment controls, press the CONFIG button and then touch Phone
Settings > Pair Device.
2. Start the pairing process on the phone. Locate Your Vehicle or Buick IntelliLink on
the phone.
3. Conrm the codes that appear on the touch screen and the phone.
4. If your phone prompts you to accept the connection or phone book download, select
Always Accept and Allow.

Bluetooth® System
Portable Audio Devices
With OnStar 4G LTE and Wi-Fi, up to seven devices (smartphones, tablets and laptops)
can be connected to high-speed Internet through the vehicle’s built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.
To retrieve the SSID and password for the hotspot, press the OnStar Voice Command
button on the overhead console or rearview mirror, wait for the prompt, and then say
“Wi-Fi settings.” The information will be displayed on the screen.
For assistance, press the blue OnStar button or call 1-888-4-ONSTAR (1-888-466-7827).

the front of the center console and inside

Navigation SystemF
Entering a Destination
1. Press the DEST button.
2. To enter a specic address, touch the Address Entry screen button. The Destination
Entry menu also lists other options to plan a route.
3. Select State/Province, City or Street and enter the information. Touch the List button
to select the desired name from the generated list for each entry.
4. Enter the house number. Touch the Done screen button.
5. The entered address is displayed.
6. Select the Route Options and touch the Start Guidance screen button.

Vehicle Personalization
Windshield Wipers
Some vehicle features can be custom-
ized using the Settings menus and the
touch screen button or infotainment
controls. The Settings menus may include
Languages, Time and Date, Radio Settings,
Phone Settings, Navigation Settings,
Display Settings, and Vehicle Settings.
1. Press the CONFIG button (A) or touch
the CONFIG screen button (B) on the
home page.
2. Use the Tune/Menu knob or the touch
screen to select the desired menu item.
3. Use the Tune/Menu knob or the touch
screen to select the desired feature and
setting.
4. Press BACK to exit each menu.

Automatic Operation
Press AUTO.
Set the temperature.
The system automatically controls the fan speed, air delivery, air conditioning and recir-
culation to reach the set temperature. Allow time for the system to reach the desired
temperature. If the fan speed or air delivery mode is manually adjusted, automatic
operation is canceled.
Air Delivery Modes
Press the Air Delivery Mode buttons to change the direction of the airow. Air delivery
settings can be combined.
Defrost Mode
Press the Defrost button to direct air at the maximum fan speed to the windshield.

AUTO Automatic Headlamp System
Automatically activates the Daytime
Running Lamps (DRLs) or the headlamps
and other exterior lamps depending on
outside light conditions.

Front Fog Lamps
Press to turn the fog lamps on or off.
To apply the parking brake, pull the
Parking Brake switch (A).
To release the parking brake, turn on
the ignition, press the brake pedal, and
then press the switch.
Note: The parking brake will release
automatically if the vehicle is running, placed
into gear and an attempt is made to drive.

Exterior Lamps
Rotate the knob to activate the exterior
lamps.
Adaptive Forward LightingF
The Adaptive Forward Lighting system pivots the headlamps left or right in the direction
of travel.
Note: The system operates only when the exterior lamps control knob is in the AUTO position,
at speeds greater than 2 mph, and after driving a short distance to calibrate the system.

Rotate and hold the thumbwheel to adjust the instrument panel lighting.

Cruise Control
Traction Control and StabiliTrak® Systems
Setting Cruise Control
1. Press the On/Off button. The
Cruise Control symbol will illuminate in
white on the instrument cluster.
2. When traveling at the desired speed,
rotate the thumbwheel down to the
SET– position to set the speed. The
symbol will illuminate in green on the
instrument cluster.
Adjusting Cruise Control
RES+ Resume/Accelerate
Rotate the thumbwheel up to resume a set speed. When the system is active, rotate and
hold the thumbwheel up to increase speed.
SET– Set/Coast
When the system is active, rotate and hold the thumbwheel down to decrease speed.
Cancel
Press to cancel the cruise control without erasing the set speed from memory. Pressing
the brake pedal also will cancel the cruise control.
The cruise control set speed is erased when cruise control or the vehicle ignition is
turned off.

The traction control system limits wheel-
spin and the StabiliTrak® stability control
system assists with directional control
of the vehicle in difcult driving condi-
tions. Both systems turn on automatically
every time the vehicle is started. Turn off
traction control if the vehicle is stuck and
rocking the vehicle is required.
Press the Traction Control/
StabiliTrak Off button on the center of
the instrument panel to turn traction
control on or off.

Automatic Transmission
Driving Assistance Systems
Driver Shift Control
Driver Shift Control is a manual mode that
allows the driver to shift gears manually.
This feature can be used to drive the vehicle
in a sportier manner, or to downshift when
driving on a downhill grade to provide
engine braking.
1. Move the shift lever left to the +/–
position.
2. Tap the shift lever forward (+) to upshift
or rearward (–) to downshift. The current
gear will be displayed on the Driver Information Center.
If vehicle speed is too high or too low for the requested gear, the shift will not occur.
When coming to a stop, the transmission will downshift automatically.

Forward Collision AlertF
The Vehicle Ahead indicator illuminates
in green on the instrument cluster when a
vehicle is detected and illuminates in amber
when following a vehicle ahead too closely.
If your vehicle approaches another vehicle
too rapidly, a visual alert ashes on the
Driver Information Center and rapid beeps
sound.
Press the Collision Alert button (A)
on the steering wheel to set the alert
timing to Far, Medium, Near or Off. The
setting is displayed on the Driver
Information Center.
Lane Departure WarningF
When crossing a detected lane marking
without using a turn signal in that direction,
the Lane Departure Warning indicator
ashes on the instrument panel and beeps
sound.
To turn the system on or off, press the
Lane Departure Warning button (B) on the center of the instrument panel.
Note: The camera sensor is located ahead of the rearview mirror. Keep the windshield clean for proper
operation.

Tire Pressure Monitor
Refueling the Vehicle
Rear Vision Camera
When the vehicle is in Reverse, a view directly behind the vehicle is displayed on the info-
tainment screen. A warning symbol may be displayed if an object has been detected.
Note: The system may not display a clear image if dirt, snow or ice builds up on the camera lens. Clean
the lens, located above the rear license plate, with water and a soft cloth.
FrontF and Rear Parking Assist
During low-speed parking maneuvers,
detected objects are indicated by beeps. The
interval between beeps becomes shorter as
the vehicle gets closer to an object. When
the distance is less than 12 in. (30 cm), the
beeps are continuous. The system is acti-
vated (button indicator is illuminated) only
at speeds less than 5 mph.
To turn the system on or off, press the
Parking Assist button (C) on the
center of the instrument panel.
To turn the symbols and guide lines on or off, press the CONFIG button and select
Display Settings > Rear Camera Options.
Note: The system may be disabled if dirt, snow or ice builds up on the sensors. Keep the vehicle clean
for proper operation.

The Low Tire Pressure warning light on the instrument cluster illuminates when one
or more of the vehicle’s tires is signicantly underinated. Fill the tires to the proper tire
pressures listed on the Tire and Loading Information label located below the driver’s door
latch. Current tire pressures can be viewed on the Driver Information Center.

1. To unlock the fuel door, unlock the vehicle using
the power door lock button or the Remote Keyless
Entry transmitter.
2. Press and release the center of the rear edge of the
fuel door. It will pop out slightly. Pull the door open.

Convertible Top Operation
Before operating the convertible top, the
cargo partition must be in the lowered
position and the trunk must be closed.
Pull the strap (A) to lower the cargo
partition. Push up the cargo partition
for additional cargo space in the trunk
when the convertible top is raised.
The top can be operated at vehicle speeds
up to 31 mph.
Operating the Power Top
1. Start the engine or place the ignition in
Accessory mode.
2. Pull or press and hold the Open/Close
switch (B) on the center console until
the top is fully opened or closed. The
windows will lower automatically. A
chime will sound when top operation is
completed.
3. Pull the convertible top power window
switch (C) on the center console to
close all windows.

A
Loss of Vehicle Power
If the electrical functions of the vehicle have been lost, the convertible top can be
closed manually. Refer to your Owner Manual for manually closing instructions.
After a loss of battery power, reset the window indexing to operate the power top.
Refer to your Owner Manual for the indexing procedure.
Note: The top may not operate in cold temperatures. A message will be displayed on the Driver
Information Center if the top will not operate due to low temperatures.

Convertible Top Wind Deflectors
The wind deectors are located in a bag
behind the rear seatbacks. The small
wind deector ts between the rear head
restraints. The large wind deector installs
behind the front seats.
Small Wind Deector Installation
1. Lower the rear seatbacks.
2. Slide the cover between the rear head
restraints toward the driver’s side of
the vehicle to remove it.
3. Insert the small wind deector (A) into
the channel and slide it toward the pas-
senger’s side of the vehicle until it locks.
4. Raise the rear seatbacks.
Large Wind Deector Installation
Note: The rear seat cannot be occupied with the
large wind deector installed.
1. On each corner of the wind deector,
turn out the upper locking pins (B) and
lift the detents to release the lower
locking pins (C).
2. Open the wind deector.
3. Insert the pins into the side recesses (D)
on the passenger’s side of the vehicle.
4. Slightly fold the deector and insert
the pins into the side recesses on the
driver’s side of the vehicle.
5. Push down the center of the deector
to fully engage the pins.
6. Fold the deector to the vertical
position.
Stowing the Wind Deectors
Stow the wind deectors in the stowage
bag when not in use. Place the bag behind
the rear seatbacks and secure the bag with
the straps.

As the owner of a new Buick, you are automatically enrolled in the Buick Roadside
Assistance program for up to 6 years/70,000 miles, whichever occurs rst, at no expense
to you. Buick’s Roadside Assistance toll-free number is staffed by a team of trained advi-
sors who are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to contact a service provider for
light services (fuel delivery, jump-starts, at tire and lock-outs) or make arrangements to
tow your vehicle to the nearest Buick dealer for any repairs.
Roadside Assistance and OnStar®
If you require roadside service and have a current OnStar subscription, press the OnStar
button and the vehicle will send your current GPS location to an OnStar Advisor who
will speak to you, assess your problem, contact Roadside Assistance and relay your exact
location so you will get the help you need.
