Peavey Jazz Classic is a powerful single unit amplifier featuring our new Gain Block signal processing front end. The three interacting controls of the Gain Block allow total control of the amp's gain structure (dynamics), harmonic content, overload texture, and output level. The Saturation control creates preamp overload and works in conjunction with the pre and post-gain controls to simulate warm tube-type, harmonic overload. The post-gain control regulates the overall gain (sensitivity) and system noise of the lead Gain Block.
