Toprotectfrom overheating,this vacuumcleaner isequipped
with athermostat which automaticallyshuts off the suction
motor if it overheats.Shouldthis happen:
1.Turnoff the switch and unplugthe cleanerbecausethe
thermostat will allow the cleanerto automaticallystart running
againwhen the motor cools(approximately30 minutes).
2. Checkthe dust cupand filter regularly, as afull dust cup or
dirty filter could causethe motorto overheat.
3. Calla EurekaAuthorizedWarrantyStation ifthe cleaner
will not operate aftercooling forapproximately 30 minutes.

Step 2: Attach Handle GripQ.
Withthe cord hookfacingthe rear ofthe cleaner,slide
the handleinto placeover the plastic adaptor (FIG.4).
Step 3: Attach Hoseand HoseHolder.
Withthe smaller side ofthe hose holderfacing the front
ofthe cleaner,insert intoguide channelsand snapinto
place (FIG.4).Insertthe hoseend_ with the guide
tabs into the hosecoupling _ andtwist counter
clockwise to lock (FIG.5).
Step 4: Store Cord (using cord hooks).
Pullthe electrical cord down aroundthe lower cord
hook,then wrap cord aroundupper andlower cord
hooksO. Fastenplugto electrical cord to prevent

Thedust cup filter _ comesout with the dust cup lid

Step 4: Emptythe dust cup @ into awaste container (FIG.13).

Step 5: Putthe lid _} back ondust cup. Besure the gasket on
thefilter bottomis centered in the innertube andthe lid
is aligned correctly on the cup. Rotatethe dust cup lid
clockwise until it locks.
Step 6: Placethe bottom ofthe dust cup _ in the mainhousing,
Pushthe top ofthe dust cup back into placeuntil it locks.

Stop 1: Onthe bottom ofthe power nozzle_, locatethe
transparent Clean-OutPortDoor_ locatedbetweenthe
wheels(SeeFIG.3).
Stop 2: Removethe port door_} by squeezingthe latch at the
back of the nozzle_ androtating the port door
forward. No toolsare neededfor this step.
Stop 3: Locateand removeclog from the power nozzle_. If
needed,you mayremovethe power nozzlefrom the
main bodyd the cleanerto locatethe clogin the neck
ofthe power nozzle.
Stop 4: Reattachthe clean-out port door_ by insertingthe
front edgeinto position androtating the door intothe
baseuntil the latch snaps into place. Ensurethat the
latch issecure. Do not usethe vacuumwithout first
reattaching the clean-out port door.
CAUTION:Turn off the power switch and unplugthe
