REMOVE ALL PACKING MATERIALS FROM THIS PRODUCT BEFORE USING IT. THIS
APPLIANCE MUST BE INSTALLED ON A FLAT SURFACE. PLEASE ENSURE THE
ELECTRICITY SUPPLY TO THIS APPLIANCE IS DISCONNECTED BEFORE INSTALLING.
Please read this instruction carefully. It is advisable to keep this instruction manual in a safe
place for future reference.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Keep this appliance out of reach from children. Do not let them to operate the appliance
without supervision.
2. Check the current rating on the rating plate and make sure the current supplied is
matched with the appliance before using.
3. This product is for household and indoor use only.
4. This product is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
5. If the power cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the service centre or a
qualified service technician to avoid hazard.
6. This product should not be placed near possible heating resources or under direct sunlight
to avoid decreasing the efficiency of cooling.
7. Always turn off and unplug the appliance before moving, cleaning or when it is not in used.
Do not leave the appliance to operate unattended.
WARNING To reduce the risk of fire or injury to person or property, please read and
follow below instruction carefully:
Do not operate this appliance if it has malfunctioned, damaged or appears damaged in
any way. Make enquiry to our service centre and return the complete set to the place of
purchase for inspection, repair or replacement.
Do not insert your finger or any object into the wind inlet or outlet.
Do not attempt to carry out repair on the appliance by yourself. Seek for a qualified service
technician or send to the authorised service centre for repair.
Place the appliance on flat ground and install it vertically, so as to ensure normal operation
of the compressor.
The appliance should be at least 50cm away from surrounding objects. Make sure air inlet
and outlet are not blocked.
Do not use the appliance near gasoline or any other flammable liquids.
Do not use spraying agent or flammable substances near the appliance; otherwise its
plastic may deform and electrical parts may be damaged.

INSTALLATION
Installing the Appliance
Settle the appliance in an upright position for at least 2 hours before first use.
Always move the appliance in the upright position.
Do not install or operate this air-conditioner in a bathroom or other wet environments.
Place it on a flat and even place, keep it at least 50cm away from its surrounding object.
Lift up the C shape buckle of the heat exhaust gently from the rear of the appliance.
Insert the exhaust hose at the air outlet and make sure it sits properly onto the air outlet by
turning few rounds clockwise.
Secure the exhaust hose by turning the C shape buckle of the heat exhaust gently. Fasten
the clip of the buckle until it clicks with the trigger.
The end of the exhaust hose must reach one step inside the bottom part of the air outlet.
Hold the unit with one hand and pull the exhaust hose from the appliance to extend the
length of the exhaust hose. Be careful not to tilt the appliance when pulling the exhaust
hose.
Insert the circular connector onto the exhaust hose properly by turning few rounds
clockwise.

Installing the Window Sealing Plate
Half open the window and mount the window sealing plate onto the window, either
vertically or horizontally.
Adjust the opening width of the window so that the window can match with the sealing
plate properly. The length of the sealing plate is also adjustable.
Fasten the window sealing plate assembly with screw.
Insert the ducting circular connector onto the elliptical hole on the window sealing plate.
The exhaust hose must not be bent and shall be less than 45º flexure.
The exhaust hose is design to fit the appliance with the length of 280mm to 1500mm.
Do not use prolonged exhaust hose or replace with other different hoses as it may affect
the performance of the appliance. The appliance may overheat if the exhaust hose is
obstructed.

CONTROL SETTING
This appliance has three modes: Cooling, Dehumidifying and Fan. The fan has two speeds.
The temperature setting is from 17ºC to 30ºC (62ºF to 86ºF).
1. ON/OFF button
Press this button to turn ON/OFF the appliance.
2. Mode button
Press this button to choose Cooling, Dehumidification and Fan mode when the appliance is
working or Timer on.
3. Fan Speed button
Press this button to select the fan speed of Low and High. This function is not available in
Dehumidifying mode.
4. Timer button
Press this
button to activate Timer-On function in standby mode. When setting the time, the
timer indicator will light and the corresponding timer will illuminate. Press Up and Down button
to increase or decrease the hour from 1 to 24 hours at one hour interval.
When the appliance is in operating condition, press this button to activate Timer-Off function
using the same operating instruction.
5. Temperature/ time Adjusting (Up/Down) button
Press this button during cooling mode to increase/decrease the t
emperature;
Press it at timer mode to adjust timer;
Press Up and Down keys simultaneously to switch Fahrenheit and Centigrade degree
temperature.
This function is not available in Dehumidifying mode.

6. Temperature / Time Display Window
This window displays the adjusted temperature and time. When idle, it shows the room
temperature.
7. Sleep Mode Indicator
This indicator light will turn on when the sleep mode is activated. To activate the sleep mode,
press the Timer and Down button simultaneously (Refer Sleep Mode).
8. Water Full Indicator
This indicator light will turn on when the condensation water is full in the appliance. The
appliance may turn off momentarily until the water has been drained off from the outlet (Refer
Drainage Method).
9. High / Low Indicator
This indicator light will turn on when the corresponding fan speed is selected.
OPERATING INSTRUCTION
In Cooling Mode
When the set temperature is greater than the room temperature by 1ºC (1ºF), the
compressor will start operating.
When the set temperature is lower than the room temperature by C (1ºF), the
compressor will stop, only the fan remains operating.
In Sleep Mode
Press the Timer and Down button simultaneously and the sleep mode will be activated.
After operating for two hours, the set temperature will increase byC (1ºF) automatically.
After operating for four hours, the set temperature will further increase by 1ºC (1ºF).
The fan speed will be switched to Low automatically.
In Dehumidification (Dry) Mode
In Dry mode, if the room temperature ≥ 17ºC (62ºF), the compressor will start.
When the room temperature ≤ 15ºC (59ºF) the compressor shuts down.
When the room temperature rises to be ≥ 17ºC (62ºF), the compressor starts again.
There will be a 3-minute protection delay for the compressor.
In dehumidification mode, the fan is defaulted to run at low speed, and wind speed cannot
be adjusted. Temperature cannot be set.
In Fan Mode
In Fan mode, the fan runs on either Low speed or High speed.
The temperature setting is not available in this mode.
The room temperature will display between 1035ºC (50-95ºF).

Timer mode
In standby state, press the timer key to set ON timer. Press Up and Down keys to set ON
timer (0~24H), and the timer indicator lamp lights up.
In operating state, press the timer key to set OFF time. Press Up and Down keys to set
OFF timer (0~24H), and the timer indicator lamp lights up.
The timer can be set at every 1 hour interval.
Remote Control Operating Instruction
The operation of the remote control is as follow:
Power Button: Press this button to turn on/off the appliance.
Timer Button: Press this button to activate timer on/off function. The timer will illuminate
while pressing the Up and Down button can set the desired on/off timer.
High Button: Press this button to select high fan speed.
Low Button: Press this button to select low fan speed.
Up / Down button: Press this button to select the temperature / timer.
ºC/ºF Button: Press this button to switch between ºC and ºF temperature display.
Cool Button: Press this button to operate in cooling mode.
Dry Button: Press this button to operate in dehumidification (dry) mode.
Fan Button: Press this button to operate in fan only mode.
Sleep Button: Press this button to activate sleep mode.
DRAINAGE METHOD
This appliance is equipped with automatic water vaporization system. The condenser is cooled with
the circulating of condensing water to improve cooling efficiency and energy saving.
If the internal water tank is full of water, the water full indicator will turn on, and the
compressor stops operate automatically. Switch off the power and unplug the appliance.
Move the appliance carefully to avoid spillage of water from the tray at the bottom of the
appliance.
Prepare a container to contain water below the water outlet at the rear of the appliance.
Remove the drainage cap by turning it counter-clockwise. Unplug the rubber plug and the
water will flow out from the appliance to the container.
Once the water has been fully drained, insert the rubber plug and fasten the drainage cap.
NOTE: Please carefully remove the rubber cap and take care of the drainage cap properly.
Always tighten the rubber plug and drainage cap before operating the appliance.

NOTE: Please pay extra attention when withdrawing the filter frame and filter mesh. Do not
apply excessive force as it will damage the evaporator fins or the filter mesh.
Put the filters into lukewarm water with mild cleaner and dry it under the shades. Avoid
brushing with metal brush or damage the filters.
Put the filter screen into lukewarm water (about 40ºC ) added with neutral detergent, dry it
completely under a shady place after cleaning.
Install the filters back into its original position after cleaning.
SEASONAL CLEANING
If the appliance will not be used for a long time:
Turn off the appliance and remove the drainage cap and rubber plug to drain off the remaining water.
Turn on the appliance and operate the appliance in wind mode for 2 hours until the internal is dry.
Turn off the appliance and unplug from electrical mains.
Wash the filter screen and reassemble it.
Dismantle the exhaust duct and keep it properly.
Cover the appliance with a proper bag and store it at a dry place.

Anti-freezing protection: Temperature of the coil is too low and the appliance
will be turned off. When temperature rises above 8ºC , the protection is
released and previous working state will be recovered.
