Putting on the Covers
Covers slip over the ears. Make sure the covers are nicely seated down over the each
ear. Pull them down, so they are fully over the ear. If you leave the covers too high,
some of the moves might be lost inside the fur, or the ear might not be able to move.
Remember, if something is blocking the ears from turning, you might damage them.
So be sure to keep the area beneath each ear clear of fur!
Listening Mode
If you would like EarGear to react
to sound, the rst thing to do is to
position the controller somewhere the
mics can hear. Inside a jacket is not so
good – but clipped on the outside of a
pocket is great.
The microphones are mounted on
the side of the case. Be careful not to
press on them, or puncture them!
Using the app, switch on Listening Mode, and let the app know if your controller is
placed infront of you, or behind you.
Then watch your ears twitch and turn as sounds happen around the ears.
ĥ In Listening Mode, EarGear is constantly measuring sounds, and guessing whether
to move the left, right, or both ears. Because it can be quite draining on the battery,
it will stop listening after 5 minutes.
