The Samsung Battery Storage Solution All-In-One 3.6kWh is available in 2 different versions :

UK Model : L20SDI3600UK

German Model : L20SDI3600ESS

For full operation, an additional smart meter to detect import & export) has to be installed

between the distribution board and the public grid (same as a normal import meter).

Please note that smart meters approved by Samsung for the German model cannot be used for

the UK model.

The UK model L20SDI3600UK has a different firmware to operate with RS485 Modbus.

The approved smart meter is a direct connected, single phase, surface mounted meter,

100A rated, with Modbus interface using Autometer Protocol V6 via RS485.

The new smart meter is produced by company Autometers Systems Limited in Manchester.

The product name is : C2000 with Autometers protocol V6

This meter is now available from Sharp – the part number is : L20AUTOC2000

Please only use this meter and connect it to the system via RS485 by using a twisted pair cable.

Please see the installation manual for more details and set-up of the meter.

The other ports for S0 and D0 are not supported for L20SDI3600UK.
