To get the most from your product and to avoid damaging it …
please read the instruction manual. Here are some key points.
Do not use descaler or scented water in any iron – it damages the steam
generating material and may cause a brown discharge from the soleplate.
You may use the iron with tap-water, but if you live in a hard water area, you
should use distilled water (not chemically descaled or softened water). If you
buy distilled water, check that it’s suitable for use in irons. Do not overfill.
STEAM IRONING
1. Turn the iron temperature up to required setting
2. To steam iron, set the temperature control to S or higher.
3. Set the steam control S = no steam, S = high steam.
4. Wait till the light goes out, then start ironing.
