Wi-Fi Module:
The module WG233E is manufactured by SkyLab M&C Technology Co. The module is
capable of operating in IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and can operate in both the 2.4GHz and
5.8GHz band. The module operates in 2T2R mode and supports 2 external antenna
connection points through two IPEX connectors. To prevent unwanted emission noise,
the radio IC is encapsulated with a with a metalized EMI shield.
The wifi radio IC consists of a Realtek RTL8812 chipset. The interface between the
module and the microprocessor is USB 2.0 running at high speed and operates off of
3.3V. Refer to the pinout of the module below.
