28mm Tomb World Monolith
B28-SF-240
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and
remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in
place while you allow glue to dry.
Note: You may find it easier to paint the components for this model before you assemble it.
Take the two inner core pieces and the base from the
sprue.
Glue the core pieces together and insert the into the
base.
Take the four outer skin pieces.
Glue them into the inner core.
Take the four top pieces.
Add these to the model.
We suggest you now paint your model (see below)
The core of the model once painted.
Take the four lower pieces.
Glue these around the base of the model, aligning the
central line.
The finished model.
Painting
Note: You may find it easier to paint the components of this model at the specified point during assembly it as that will
allow you to access some of the inner details more easily.
We sprayed our model with a black car undercoat aerosol prime. and after that was dry we painted all the sections with
a dark green colour before picking out all the detail lines with a bright green.
We used the same bright green to highlight the edges.
The base was dry covered in sand, painted a dark brown then dry brushed with a pale cream.
