Perform the following steps to attach the stabilizers to the chassis, which converts a
Dell PowerVault 20
x
S storage system to a free-standing, vertical configuration:
1. Carefully turn the chassis upside down.
2. Locate the two pairs of screw holes on the bottom panel.
3. Align one of the stabilizers with one pair of screw holes, and then align the other
stabilizer with the other pair of screw holes, as shown in Figure 1.

4. Use the four screws that came with your kit to secure the stabilizers to the bot-
tom of the chassis.
5. Carefully turn the chassis over, so the stabilizers are at the bottom.
