Installation
Any alterations made to the vehicle that are necessary for installing the product must be made
in such a way as not to impair trafc safety or the integrity of the vehicle construction.
If you are unsure of where to install the product, seek advice from your car manufacturer.
Before drilling the xing holes, make sure that electric cables, brake lines, fuel tank or similar will
not be damaged.
Observe the tool manufacturer’s safety instructions when using tools.
When installing the product, take into consideration the hazard posed by dislodged devices in
the event of an accident. Therefore, fasten the product in a secure position that does not pose
any hazard for passengers.
• Choose a suitable installation spot.
• Carefully remove the end cap that is labeled OPEN and marked with an arrow.
• Fully pull the semitransparent cover out of the guide rail.
• There are 4 oblong holes in the base plate. Use the base plate as a template and mark the position of the
4 drill holes on the installation surface.
• Drill 4 holes in the installation surface.
• Fasten the base plate to the installation surface using the included screws.
• Insert the semitransparent cover back into the guide rail.
• Install the end cap.
Connection to the power supply
The electrical connection should only be carried out by a specialist. To prevent short-circuits
and resulting product damage, disconnect the vehicle battery’s negative pole (ground) during
connection.
Do not reconnect the battery’s negative pole until you have fully connected the lamp and
checked the connection.
Use a voltmeter or diode test lamp to check the voltage to the on-board voltage lines. Normal
test lamps consume too much power and may cause damage to the on-board electronics.
When installing cables, ensure that they are not crushed or scrape on sharp edges. At feed-
through points, use suitable protective sleeves.
• Connect the red connection line to the positive voltage supply (+12V).
• Connect the white connection line to the negative voltage supply (ground).
Operation
The on/off switch is located on one of the end caps.
• ON: Lamp is on.
• OFF: Lamp is off.
Cleaning and care
• Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning.
• Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions
since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
• Clean the product with a dry, bre-free cloth.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines.
You thus fulll your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

connection to a 12 V/DC on-board power supply (vehicle battery’s negative pole on the car body).
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be
avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
cause hazards such as short circuiting, re, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them.
