SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Caution! Closely follow the instructions
set out in this manual. All responsibility,
for any eventual inconveniences,
damages or fires caused by not
complying with the instructions in this
manual, is declined. The extractor hood
has been designed exclusively for
domestic use.
Warning! Do not connect the appliance
to the mains until the installation is fully
complete.
Before any cleaning or maintenance
operation, disconnect hood from
the mains by removing the plug or
disconnecting the mains electrical
supply.
Always wear work gloves for all installation
and maintenance operations.
The appliance is not intended for use by
children or persons with impaired physical,
sensorial or mental faculties, or if lacking
in experience or knowledge, unless they
are under supervision or have been trained
in the use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
This appliance is designed to be operated
by adults, children should be monitored
to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance. This appliance is designed to be
operated by adults. Children should not be
allowed to tamper with the controls or play
with the appliance.
Never use the hood without effectively
mounted grating!
The hood must NEVER be used as
a support surface unless speci cally
indicated.
The premises where the appliance is
nstalled must be suf ciently ventilated,
when the kitchen hood is used together with
other gas combustion devices or other fuels.
The ducting system for this appliance must
not be connected to any existing ventilation
system which is being used for any other
purpose such as discharging exhaust fumes
from appliances burning gas or other fuels.
The aming of foods beneath the hood itself
is severely prohibited.
The use of exposed ames is detrimental
to the lters and may cause a re risk,
and must therefore be avoided in all
circumstances.
Any frying must be done with care in order
to make sure that the oil does not overheat
and ignite.
Caution! Accessible parts of the hood
may became hot when used with
cooking appliance.
With regards to the technical and safety
measures to be adopted for fume
discharging it is important to closely follow
the regulations provided by the local
authorities. The hood must be regularly
cleaned on both the inside and outside (AT
LEAST ONCE A MONTH).
This must be completed in accordance
with the maintenance instructions provided
in this manual). Failure to follow the
instructions provided in this user guide
regarding the cleaning of the hood and
lters will lead to the risk of res.
Do not use or leave the hood without the
lamp correctly mounted due to the possible
risk of electric shocks.
We will not accept any responsibility for
any faults, damage or res caused to the
appliance as a result of the non-observance
of the instructions included in this manual.
2. USE
The hood serves to aspirate the fumes and
vapors resulting from cooking.
The attached installation manual indicates
the version to be used depending on the
model you have, the suction version with
external evacuation or ltering with
internal recirculation .
3. INSTALLATION
The mains power supply must correspond
to the rating indicated on the plate situated
inside the hood. If provided with a plug
connect the hood to a socket in compliance
with current regulations and positioned in
an accessible area, after installation. If it not
tted with a plug (direct mains connection)
or if the plug is not located in an accessible
area, after installation, apply a double
pole switch in accordance with standards
which assures the complete disconnection
of the mains under conditions relating to
over-current category III, in accordance with
installation instructions.
Warning! Before re-connecting the
hood circuit to the mains supply and
checking the efficient function, always
check that the mains cable is correctly
assembled.

4.2 NON-washable activated charcoal
lter - The saturation of the charcoal lter
occurs after more or less prolonged use,
depending on the type of cooking and the
regularity of cleaning of the grease lter.
In any case it is necessary to replace the
cartridge at least every four mounths.
The charcoal lter may NOT be washed or
regenerated.
Warning! Power cable replacement must
be undertaken by the authorised service
assistance centre or similar quali ed
person.The minimum distance between
the supporting surface for the cooking
equipment on the hob and the lowest part
of the range hood must be not less than
50cm from electric cookers and 65cm from
gas or mixed cookers. If the instructions for
installation for the gas hob specify a greater
distance, this must be adhered to.
4. MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION! Before performing any
maintenance operation, isolate the hood
from the electrical supply by switching off at
the connector and removing the connector
fuse. Or if the appliance has been
connected through a plug and socket, then
the plug must be removed from the socket.
The cooker hood should be cleaned
regularly (at least with the same frequency
with which you carry out maintenance of the
fat lters) internally and externally. Clean
using the cloth dampened with neutral liquid
detergent. Do not use abrasive products.
DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!
Warning! Failure to carry out the basic
cleaning recommendations of the cooker
hood and replacement of the lters may
cause re risks. Therefore, we recommend
observing these instructions.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility
for any damage to the motor or any
re damage linked to inappropriate
maintenance or failure to observe the above
safety recommendations.
4.1 Grease lter - The grease lter must
be cleaned once a month using non
aggressive detergents, either by hand or
in the dishwasher, which must be set to a
low temperature and a short cycle. When
washed in a dishwasher, the grease lter
may discolour slightly, but this does not
affect its ltering capacity.

5. CONTROLS
The hood is equipped with buttons
for suction speed control. It is
recommended to turn on the hood a
few minutes before starting to use the
cookers and let it run for about fteen
minutes after you have nished cooking
in order to eliminate all odors.
In case of extreme temperature
changes, the hood will start
automatically due to the existing sensor
and will remain in operation until the
temperature around the hood will
signi cantly decrease.
The control panel of the hood is located
on front of the unit.

1 On/Off Button
Pressing this button, the hood is
activated at speed 1.
The hood will turn off when the button is
pressed while in operation.
2 Motor speed
Pressing this button, the hood switches
from off to speed 1.
Pressing subsequently this button more
than once (with the hood in operation),
the motor speed will change:
Speed 1: “1” appears on the display.
Speed 2: “2” appears on the display.
Speed 3: “3” appears on the display.
Intense Speed: “4” ashes on the
display.
Intense Speed has a timer.
Standard duration of the timer is 5 ‘,
after which the hood passes at speed 2.
To disable this feature before the end
of the preset duration, press button “2”
so that the hood passes to speed 1. By
pressing subsequently button “1”, the
hood will be turned off.

Timer
To activate the speed timer, press “2” for 2
seconds.
After the time indicated according to the
chosen speed, the hood is off.
The timer operates in the following manner:
• Speed 1: 20 minutes (the display shows
“1” and a ashing dot).
• Speed 2: 15 minutes (the display shows
“2” and a ashing dot).
• Speed 3: Display 10 minutes (the display
shows “3” and a ashing dot).
• Intense Speed: 5 minutes (the display
shows “4” and a ashing dot).
During operation of the hood with the timer,
if you press “1” the hood turns off, if you
press “2” the hood passes at the program-
med speed and if you press button “4” the
hood switches to Sensor .
The grease lter saturation signal
“1” ashes to indicate that the grease lter
must be cleaned. This happens after the
hood is used for approximately 80 hours.
After cleaning the grease lter, hold button
“1” for 3 seconds until the indicator light
stops ashing.
Read carefully the directions for grease
lter cleaning.
Charcoal lter saturation signal
“2” ashes when the charcoal lter must
be replaced. This happens after the hood is
used for approximately 320 hours.
After replacing the activated charcoal lter,
hold button “1” for 3 seconds until the
indicator light stops ashing.
Read carefully the directions for cleaning
the charcoal lter.
In case both lters are saturated, “1” and
“2” ash simultaneously.
To perform the reset, the above procedure
must be repeated twice.
First, the saturation indication of the grease
lter is canceled and the second time will
cancel the saturation indication of the
charcoal lter.
In standard mode, the device that signals
the saturation of the charcoal lter is
disabled.
In case the hood is used in recirculation
mode, this signal must be activated.

Activation of charcoal lter saturation
signal:
The hood must be turned off.
Activate the device by holding down
simultaneously buttons 2 and 3 for 3
seconds.
“1” and “2” ash for 2 seconds on the
display.
To disable the signal, hold once again
buttons 2 and 3 for 3 seconds: “1” ashes
for 2 seconds and then stops ashing.
Automatic Mode
The factory default setting of the hood is
with conventional operation, to enable auto-
matic operation press button “4”.
The system has two types of automatic
operation mode.
• Fumes Sensor Mode guarantees correct
fumes extraction during cooking.
• Ambient Air Recirculation Mode is a
control system that ensures a high level
of air quality.
These two modes activate in cyclic opera-
tion by pressing button “4”.
Mode Fumes Sensor, the letter C appears
on the display.
During cooking, the system reacts quickly
to the increase of vapour and fumes and
works at set speed for at least 1 minute be-
fore switching to a lower speed/turning off.
When cooking is nished and the environ-
mental parameters returned to the levels
before the cooking, the system shuts down.
If the parameters are close to the idle condi-
tion, the system turns off the hood after 30
minutes.
Ambient Air Recirculation Mode, the letter A
appears on the display.
The system reacts quickly to the increase of
vapor and fumes, and operates at a preset
speed for at least 1 minute before switching
to a lower speed/turning off.
When vapours and fumes have disap-
peared and the environmental parameters
have returned to the levels before the cook-
ing, the system shuts down.
You can exit this mode by pressing buttons
“1”, “2” and “4”.
In recirculation mode, the timing of
Auto-off (automatic mode) can be
longer. This is due to the deterioration
the charcoal lter; the manual switch off
is recommended.
Sensors’ testing
It is carried out continuously in automatic
mode. In case of malfunction “8” ashes on
the display (contact the technical assistance
service); however, the hood can be used in
conventional operation.
Manual Calibration Procedure
Turn off the hood and hold down simultane-
ously buttons “1” and “4” for 3”.
A small dot ashes on the display.
This operation is recommended:
when the hood is installed for the rst time
when the current supply is interrupted for
several hours or several days
following a very rapid variation of the tem-
perature of the kitchen.
Hob Selection
This operation optimizes the automatic
operation of the hood. Proceed as follows:
Turn off the hood and hold down simultane-
ously buttons “1” and “3” for 3 seconds
until the used hob is visible on the display:
“g”: gas hob
“i”: induction hob
“e”: electric hob
Sequential switching of the hob is done by
pressing button “1”.
The letter relating to the selected stove will
blink 3 times to con rm the selected hob.
Once the stove selected, wait 10” for the
accepting of this feature.
The hob set by default is the gas hob.

6. LIGHTING
Disconnect the hood from the electricity.
Warning! Prior to touching the light bulbs
ensure they are cooled down.
Replace with a new 12 Volt, 20 Watt
(Max) halogen light made for a GU4 base
Ø35mm.
