Magnet Assembly (x2)

Insert the end of
the ring on the
magnet assembly (C)
through the hole in the
pin on top of canister
(B), and rotate one half
turn, like keys on a key
ring.
Lift canister (B)
straight up and
mount in the range
hood (A). Repeat with
second canister on
other side of cooktop.
Installation is
complete.
Remove foam
spacer, if present,
and discard.
Center each
canister (B)
between the front and
back burners, then lift
straight up into the
range hood (A). Mark
this spot, after making
sure it is free of grease,
clean, and dry.
*This kit will only work for StoveTop FireStop Venthood
products with the following characteristics:
• Has short post with a hole protruding from the top;
•The label contains the firefighter STFS logo, and a
yellow field;
• Purchased mid-2013 and before.
