Thank you for having purchased the new Sytech Portable Wireless Speaker SY-X1255BT. For a proper
use of this product, please read this instruction manual carefully. In order to avoid damage or personal
injuries, always follow the safety instructions given in this user manual.
PRECAUTIONS
1. Do not expose the unit to extreme temperature nor high humidity to ensure normal functioning for a
long lifetime. For instances, never place the unit in bathing areas nor around stoves and radiators.
2. If you find the unit is not working properly, please take it to your nearest services centre. Do not
attempt to repair by yourself.
3. To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture.
4. To avoid electrical shock, do not open the cabinet; refer to a service agent or qualified engineer only.
Note
If the unit has not been used for a long period, the rechargeable battery may be completely discharged
which puts it into a “sleep mode” condition. In order to wake the battery, or when charging it for the first
time, it is recommended to charge for about 5 hours or more but never exceeding 24 hours.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Battery Supply
Integrated 400mAh rechargeable battery, Li-ion 3.7V
Battery Charging
Connect the unit by inserting the USB cable into DC 5V IN jack, and inserting the other end into the USB
interface or USB charger. The charging time is around 2 hours. The charging indicator will flash when the
battery is charging and will stop blinking when it is fully charged.
To use 5V AC/DC adapter for external DC charging, plug the connecting cable to the DC jack. (Voltage
adapter is an optional accessory. Do not charge the battery with the AC / DC adapter for more than 24
hours.)
BLUETOOTH FUNCTION
1. Select the Power ON/OFF SWITCH to ON.
2. In the case where you have another storage device connected to the unit, press and hold the ”MODE”
button for a few seconds to enter into bluetooth mode. If there is no device previously connected to the
unit, the unit will start into bluetooth mode by default. The display will show ”BLUE” and a sound will
emit to indicate that it is now in pairing mode.
3. Activate the Bluetooth function in your external Bluetooth device.
4. Select SY-X1255BT on your Bluetooth device for pairing. The speakers will emit a sound when the
connection has been successfully established.
5. You may now begin to play music from your handheld device.
6. Once the speaker and the device are connected successfully, you may control the playback, pause,
next, previous functions of the music from the device or the unit directly.
7. When there is an incoming call:
Press the “Play/Pause/Mode” button to answer the call and to hang up
Press and hold the “Play/Pause/Mode” button to reject the call.
Tip
The device will also be disconnected when the device is moved beyond the operational range (10m)
• If you want to reconnect the device to the unit, place it within the operational range and the
connection should restore automatically.
Note
• The operational range between this unit and a Bluetooth device is approximately 10 meters.
• Before you connect a Bluetooth device to this unit, familiarize yourself with the Bluetooth capabilities
of the device.
• Compatibility with all Bluetooth devices is not guaranteed.
• Any obstacle between this unit and a Bluetooth device can reduce the operational range.
• Keep this unit away from any other electronic device that may cause interference.
RADIO FM FUNCTION
1) Select the Power ON/OFF SWITCH to ON.
2) Press the "MODE" button to select the Radio function. The LED display will show the FM radio
frequency.
3) Press the Next or Previous button during 1 second to go to the next or previous radio channel. If you
wish to search for a radio channel manually, press and hold the Next or Previous button.
4) Adjust the volume of the unit using the “-/+ VOL” buttons.
Radio Presets
1) Press the Play button for 2 seconds to commence auto search of the preset stations. This function will
stop once all the channels have been found.
2) Press the Next or Previous button in order to select a channel from the preset list.
Station frequency input
Use the numerical keys to directly input a FM radio channel. The unit will immediately tune to the channel
input.
USB, TF Card PLAYBACK
1) Select the Power ON/OFF SWITCH to ON.
2) Before connecting a USB storage or MICRO SD card to the unit, make sure you are inserting it in the
correct position. Do not force it in.
3) Press the ”MODE” button to select the USB/MICRO SD mode. The LED display will show a USB icon
or ”CARD” for micro SD.
4) When inserting the USB or MICRO SD, the player will automatically playback from this mode.
5) Press the Next / Previous / PLAY Buttons for Next / Previous / PLAY Functions
6) If you switch modes or turn off the unit, when returning to this mode or turning the unit back on again,
the music will play from the last song onwards.
