PLUG-OUT Software Synthesizer
Installation Guide
This document explains how to install and activate the PLUG-OUT Software Synthesizer.
About the Activation
Before you use the PLUG-OUT Software Synthesizer, you need to activate the software after installing. Activation is required for continued use
of the PLUG-OUT Software Synthesizer.
* Also you need account of the “Roland Account Service” which used for downloading the PLUG-OUT Software Synthesizer.
Limitations removed by activation
5 When you turn o the power of your PLUG-OUT capable device, the plugged-out PLUG-OUT software synthesizer is deleted from that
device.
5 The audio output periodically becomes distorted or reduced in volume, beginning ten minutes after you started the PLUG-OUT software
synthesizer.
5 Once 14 days have elapsed since you rst started the PLUG-OUT software synthesizer, the audio output periodically becomes distorted or
reduced in volume as soon as you start it.
About the trial version
If you are using the trial version, you can use it as the paid version by purchasing the PLUG-OUT software synthesizer in the Roland Content
Store (https://contentstore.roland.com/) and activating it.
To access the Roland Content Store, click the [OPTION] button and then click “Buy Now.”
* We cannot answer questions regarding the trial version nor provide support for it.
* Roland makes no guarantees regarding any consequences that may arise from your use of the trial version.
Installation of PLUG-OUT Software Synthesizer
Install the PLUG-OUT Software Synthesizer.
Windows
1. Right-click the compressed le that you downloaded, and
click “Extract All.”
A folder containing the compressed les is created.
* If “Extract All” is not shown, use your own decompression
software to decompress the le.
2. Open the extracted folder.
3. If your DAW (application) is a 32-bit version, double-click
the le named “***(32bit)”; if your DAW is a 64-bit version,
double-click the le named “***(64bit).”
* *** is the name of the product.
4. Follow the directions the installer shows.
The program for VST2 is installed in the following locations.
64-bit version Windows
5 64-bit version VST2 program:
Program Files\Vstplugins\Roland
5 32-bit version VST2 program:
Program Files (x86)\Vstplugins\Roland
32-bit version Windows
Program Files\Vstplugins\Roland
Mac OS
1. Double-click the compressed le that you downloaded; it
will be decompressed.
A folder containing the compressed les is created.
* If double-clicking does not decompress the le, use your own
decompression software to decompress it.
2. Open the extracted folder.
3. Double-click the le named “***.pkg.”
* *** is the name of the product.
4. Follow the directions the installer shows.
