SYSTEM-100 PLUG-OUT Software Synthesizer Q&A
2015/08/27
Q :
The sound periodically becomes softer or distorted.
A :
If you have not yet activated it, the audio output periodically becomes distorted or reduced in volume,
beginning 10 minutes after you started the PLUG-OUT softwaresynthesizer. And once 14 days have
elapsed since you first started the PLUG-OUT software synthesizer, the audio output periodically
becomes distorted or reduced in volume as soon as you start it.
Once activation is completed, the software synthesizer operates normally.
Q :
On how many computers can I activate the software?
A :
The Plug-Out Software Synthesizer can be activated on a maximum of three computers.
If you've exceeded the maximum number of activations, check the computers that you've registered on
your Roland account service, and deactivate any unneeded activations; then activate the software
again.
Q :
When using the SYSTEM-1 as a control surface in Cubase Series, operating the knobs in the MIXER
section of the SYSTEM-1 causes multiple VST parameters to change, or causes unintended
parameters to change.
A :
The Track Quick Controls settings of Cubase Series can cause specific Track Control Changes to be
converted to automation parameters.
You can avoid this problem by turning the Track Quick Controls function off.
Q :
In the Setting window, the MIDI Input and MIDI Output parameters show [SYSTEM-1 CTRL
(Unconnected)], and I can't choose [SYSTEM-1 CTRL]. (Windows)

1. Open [Devices] - [Device Setup].
2. For the [SYSTEM-1 CTRL] port, clear the check boxes [Visible] and [In All MIDI] for both

1. Open [Edit] - [Preferences] - [MIDI] - [Device], and clear the check box for the [SYSTEM-1
CTRL] port.
