Thank you for purchasing Fakir Tower Fan. It was
developed and manufactured to work reliably for many
years.
These operating instructions are intended to enable
the safe and proper handling and operation of the
tower fan.
Read these operating instructions carefully before using
the appliance for the first time.
Keep the operating instructions in a safe place. Include
these operating instructions when passing the tower
fan on to another user.
We will accept no liability for damages resulting from
failure to comply with the operating instructions.

Intended use
Unauthorized use
This appliance fulfills the requirements of the Product
Safety Law (ProdSG) and the EU Directives 2014/30/
EC “Electromagnetic Compatibility” and 2014/35/EC
“Low-Voltage Directive”, 2001/95/EC “General Product
Safety Directive” and 2011/65/EU “RoHS Directive”,
2009/125/EC “Ecodesign Directive”. The appliance
bears the CE mark on the rating plate.
This fan may only be used for its intended purpose –
ventilating homes or offices.
The tower fan is not suitable for commercial use. Any
other use is considered unauthorized and is prohibited.
The examples of unauthorized use listed here can
result in malfunctions, damage to the appliance or
personal injury.

Never use the appliance in the vicinity of explosive or
flammable materials.
Damage to appliance from rain and dirt
Never use or store the appliance outdoors.
Danger from overheating
Always make sure the openings in the appliance are
unobstructed.
This appliance may be used only by children from the
age of 8 years and over, persons with limited physical,
sensory or mental capacities or by persons lacking in
experience and / or knowledge, if they will be
supervised, or they have been properly instructed with
regard to safe use of the appliance and they are aware
of the possible resulting risks.
Children should not play with the device.
Cleaning and maintenance may not be carried out by
children without supervision.
Keep plastic packaging foils away from children

• Do not direct the air flow directly at people.
• Do not obstruct the air flow and keep a minimum
clearance of 50 cm on all sides.
General
• Incorrect voltage can destroy the appliance.
Operate the appliance only if the voltage specified
on the rating plate corresponds to the voltage in
your household.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids and protect it from rain and moisture.
• Never touch the plug with wet hands.
• When unplugging the appliance, always pull
directly on the plug and never on the power cord.
• Do not kink, pinch or run over the power supply
cord and do not expose it to heat sources.
• If the power cord of this appliance is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or the
manufacturer’s customer service department or
a person with similar qualifications, in order to
prevent hazards.
• Use only extension cords designed for the power
input of the appliance.
• For cleaning and maintenance of the appliance
or when replacing parts, switch off the appliance
and unplug it from the power supply.

OPERATION

1. Remove the fan from the packing.
2. Place the fan on a flat, level and stable surface and plug
into 220-240V~50Hz power socket.
3. POWER ON / OFF THE FAN
The fan can be turned by pressing the POWER button on
the fan control panel or using the supplied remote control.
The POWER button is also used to turn the fan off.
4. DISPLAY
When the device open, the screen automatically displays
the current temperature.
5. FAN SPEED
Pressing ‘SPEED’ button on the control panel or supplied
remote control will cycle the fan through 3 comfort
speeds(High/Medium/Low) until the desired speed is
selected..
6. ROTATION
The fan can operate in rotation or staionary mode. Press the
ROTATE button on the control panel or the supplied remote
control to start oscillation. To turn ROTATION off, simply
press the ROTATION button once more.
7. TIMER
Pressing ‘TIMER’ button on control panel or the supplied
remote control sets the timer in increments of 1 hour to a
maximum of 8 hours. After the timer runs out, the fan will
automatically shut off.

REMOTE CONTROLLER INSTRUCTION
1. Insert 1xCR2025 button battery (included) into the back of
the remote control.
2. Pull the insulation film out from the backside of the remote
control before use it.
3. The remote controls all the functions as the base unit for
convenience. Follow the same instructions above to operate
the fan remotely.

Trouble shooting; Dear Customer,
Our products are subjected to stringent quality controls. If
this appliance should nevertheless fail to function properly,
this is a mattter of regret for us. Before contacting our
service department, check to see if you can eliminate the
problem yourself.

Dispatch;
When the tower fan has reached the end of its service life,
especially in the event of malfunctions, render the appliance
unserviceable by first unplugging and then cutting the power
cord.
Dispose of the appliance in accordance with the applicable
environmental regulations for your country.
Do not dispose of electrical equipment with the house-hold
refuse.
The packaging of the appliance is made of recyclable
materials.
Sort the packaging material and recycle accordingly.
Unserviceable electrical and electronic appliances and
batteries contain hazardous substances, which were
previously necessary for the proper functioning and safety of
the appliances. Never dispose of unserviceable appliances
or batteries with the household refuse! In household refuse,
or if handled incorrectly, these substances are hazardous to
human health and the environment.
Unserviceable electrical and electronic appliances and
batteries often contain valuable materials.
Make use of your local recycling facilities for recycling of
electrical and electronic appliances and batteries.
This appliance is compatible with 2012/19/EC WEEE
directive.
Send the appliance in the original package or a similar,
well-padded package to prevent damage to the appliance
WARRANTY
We provide a warranty for the appliance subject to the following condi-
tions:

1. Your resellers residential address / company address shall be located in the
EU or the appliance shall be purchased from an authorized reseller in Germa-
ny.
2. We guarantee to ensure that you may send the appliance to us free of charge
and to repair the faults which have been reported within 24 months due to
material or assembly errors that occur within 24 months (12 months for indus-
trial and professional uses).
Proper use of the appliance is a pre-requisite for fullling the warranty obliga-
tion. The warranty period begins with the date of sale.
3. Parts included in natural wear parts (drive belt, batteries, brushes, lters) are
not covered under warranty.
4. Warranty claims shall be void in case of intervention or repair by persons who
are not authorized us. In addition, aftermarket spare parts or accessories
shall not be installed.
5. Warranty service consists of repair or replacement of defective parts. On-site
repairs may only be requested for xed large appliances. In order to docu-
ment warranty claims, it is necessary to present the invoice or voucher with
the date of purchase, stemp and signature from the dealer.
6. If the repair operation fails and the fault or defect can not be remedied after
service, the appliance shall be replaced with an equivalent appliance. If a
repair or replacement is not possible, you are entitled the right to return the
appliance and to demand a refund of the sales value of the appliance. A fee
may be requested for the period of use in case of a request for an exchange
or refund of the sales value.
7. Warranty services do not cause an extension of the warranty period or start of
a new warranty period. The warranty period for the parts installed inside the
appliance ends with the end of the total warranty period of the appliance.
8. Contractual or statutory clauses for repair of faults remain in eect regardless
of warranty terms.
