How to Swap the Internal Cable
Overview
The retro-fit kit allows the customer to change the internal cable of the throw-down box from Polarity A (pass-
through) to Polarity B (cross-over).
Cable-Swap Procedure
How to swap the internal cable
1. Remove the two self-tapping screws from the [rear of the] single throw-down adapter chassis.

2. Remove the cover from the chassis.
Inside is a traditional, bare ribbon, bend-tolerant, fiber MTP.

3. Remove the old (pass-through) pig-tail.
Note: The connectors on the cross-over pig-tail are marked with an X. The connectors on the pass-
through pig-tail have no markings.
