Read this ìsafety precautionsî carefully and thoroughly before implementation to ensure proper installation.
These precautions whose marks and contents as the following MUST be complied with for they include
important points concerning safety.

Trial run MUST be done after installation of the assembly to ensure no disorders occur. Meanwhile,
explain method of use and trouble-shooting to the user according to the operation manual.
In addition, this installation instruction and operation manuals should be kept by the user.

Unauthorized installation may cause water leakage, electric shock and fire hazard etc.
Installation MUST be executed in accordance with this installation manual.
Improper installation may cause water leakage, electric shock and fire hazard etc.
Ask installation personnel to do preventions against leakage of refrigerant. While installing in
small room, proper preventions should be made to restrict leaking refrigerant within thickness
limit even leakage occurs. Contact authorized organizations and ask them to do such prevention.
Leakage of refrigerant exceeding thickness limit can easily cause hazard of oxygen shortage.
Location of installation should be strong enough to bear the weight of machine, which cannot be
installed on unspecified metal structures (e.g. burglarproof net)
Installation support of insufficient strength can cause falling of the machine and personal injuries.
Install as required to guard against typhoon, earthquake etc.
Installation not as required can cause overturn of the machine resulting accidents.
If thereís any leakage of refrigerant during installation, ventilation measures should be made
accordingly.
Contact between refrigerant vapor and fire can produce poisonous gas.
Ensure thereís no leakage of refrigerant after finishing installation.
If refrigerant vapor leaking indoors and contacts with fire sources such as blowing warmer and
stove etc., poisonous gas can be produced.
Use special circuit of power supply during installation and make fixed wiring layout according
to national wiring standard by certified electricians. Insufficient capacity of power supply circuit
or improper wiring layout can cause electric shock and fire hazards.
Wiring layout MUST apply specified power cables and be grounded reliably. Ensure reliability
of connections in parts of terminals for improper connection or fixing can cause fire hazard etc.
MUST be grounded.
Grounding line CANNOT be connected to gas pipe, tapping pipe, lighting rod or earth of telephone
etc.
Improper grounding can cause electric shock.

Install electrical leakage protector.
Omission of installing electrical leakage protector can cause electric shock.
DONíT install in place where flammable gas can easily leaks.
Leakage of flammable gas can cause fire hazard.
Water drainage pipe should be installed according to instructions to ensure smooth discharge of
water. In addition, heat preservation measure should be taken to prevent moisture condensation.
Improper installation of drainage pipe can cause water leakage and possibly damp or soak indoor
articles.
Selection of installation place
Requirements
Avoid installing in the following places:
Where is of high salinity (coastal areas).
Where is of high sulfide gas (thermal spring
areas).
(Use in the above areas can easily result in
defects of the machine and need special
maintenance.)
Where oils (including mechanical oils) easily
splatter and vapor is abundant.
Where organic solvents are uses.
Where thereís equipment emitting
electromagnetic waves of high-frequency nearby.
Where ceilingís height is over 3 m.
Where windows and doors are exposed to
outdoor air of high humidity.
Insulation of metal parts of building and air
conditioner should be carried on in compliance
with technical standards of electrical appliances
and facilities.
Installation place for indoor subassembly should
be of evenly circulating cool and hot air.
Confirmation of installation location and space
Ensure selected place is enough for space of
installation and maintenance. (Here we only use
simple drawing as figurations of the series are
different)

Prior to installation
Drill a hole of 70 mm diameter through the wall with its outside
inclining lower slightly. Install a guard ring and then seal it with
gesso or putty.
As shown in the diagram at the right, open intake barrier . (AC092,
122,162FEAHA, AC092,122,162FEBHA)
As shown in the diagram at the right, remove two screw snails as
shown and take right-side intake barrier down. (AC182,242,

According to spot requirement, drainage pipe is provided by the user and connected firmly with drainage
pipe equipped on the machine (pay attention to the joint to prevent from water leakage). Indoor part of
drainage pipe should be made heatproof with heat insulation materials to prevent from condensation.
Installation of floor console
1. Installation of (AC092,122,142,162FEAHA,AC092,122,142,162FEBHA)
Fix four rubber footings, 4X16 screw snail, 12 washer on the bottom of the machine (only for
floor type).

As shown in the diagram on the right, select
an outlet direction for pipeline and wiring.
There are two drainage holes respectively on
the left and right, select one according to
practical conditions. After confirming outlet
direction of pipeline, wiring and drainage
pipe, drill a hole through the wall according
to method prescribed.

Install supporting frame as shown in the diagram below.

Install drainage pipe
Install drainage pipe at one of positions on
right or left for drainage holes (as diagram
above) as following:
Inset drainage pipe into water intake panel as
shown in diagram, fasten with line clip, then
bind up the joint with heatproof materials.
As shown in the diagram on the right, select
an outlet direction for pipeline and wiring.
There are two drainage holes respectively on
the left and right, select one according to
practical conditions. After confirming outlet
direction of pipeline, wiring and drainage
pipe, drill a hole through the wall according
to method prescribed.

3. Installation of drainage pipe
According to spot requirement, drainage pipe
is provided by the user and connected firmly
with drainage pipe equipped on the machine
(pay attention to the joint to prevent from
water leakage). Indoor part of drainage pipe
should be made heatproof with heat insulation
materials to prevent from condensation.

Air tightness test
Evacuation Addition of refrigerant
Air tightness test, evacuation and addition of refrigerant should be carried on according to installation
manual of outdoor unit.
During air tightness test, indoor unit cannot be powered on until vacuum evacuation is finished.
(Internal electronic expansion valves will all close and evacuation cannot be fully done just from
either fluid or gas side of distribution tube if indoor unit is powered on). Otherwise, evacuation
should be done from both sides of the distribution tube.
Note
Air leakage test
Check air leakage from joint part of distribution tube and valve covers of outdoor unit.
Checkup of joint part of distribution tube MUST adopt the same refrigerant as inside the machine.
(NOTE:To type AC092-282FEAHA units used refrigerant R22.
To type AC092-282FEBHA units used refrigerant R407C .)
Open all valves of outdoor unit
Heat insulation
Use attached heatproof pipe for heat insulation of joint part of distribution tube of indoor unit and
make it seamless.
Poor heat insulation can cause moisture condensation and result in water leakage

During refrigeration, temperatures in fluid and gas sides are low. To prevent moisture condensation,
heat insulation measures MUST be taken to the two sides.
Heat insulation of distribution tube should be done
respectively in fluid and gas side.
Note!
Heat insulation measures should be taken to indoor drainage pipe to prevent moisture condensation.
Same measures also should be taken to joint part between drainage pipe and indoor assembly.
Connection of distribution tube must adopt hard PVC agglutinant for firm adherence to guard against
water leakage.
Donít put pressure on join part of drainage pipe.
Drainage pipe is downslope (over 1/100) and no shapes like backwater etc. should be formed.
Transverse length of drainage pipe is less than 20m. If distribution tube is long, a supporting frame
should be set to prevent undulation.
Aggregative distribution tube is constructed as shown in following diagram.

Electric wiring
Notice

Requirement
During wiring layout of remote controller , pay attention to consistency of connected terminals.
Improper connection can cause machine defects.
Centralized control signal lines and communication lines of indoor and outdoor units are nonpolar
with 2 cores. To prevent interference of electromagnetic noise, apply 2-core shielded wires.
Systems of refrigerant distribution tube and control wiring should coincide with the same system.
Comply with wiring layout rules concerning installation of electrical facilities.
Indoor and outdoor units MUST be grounded.
Remote connected to terminal block should be clustered and fixed with press line clips to prevent
outside force borne by wires transferring to connection terminals.
wiring layout should be implemented by certified electricians.
Specification of power supply shall be in accordance with the following table:sectional area pf
core 0.75 mm≤ (less than 200m) or 1.0mm≤ (200m-500m)
Wiring of remote controller should coincide with signs of A, B, C terminal of terminal block of
indoor unit.
Remote controller is of low voltage circuit and should be installed according to regulations
for light current circuit to keep away from AC220-230V and AC380-400V.
Indoor power
Power supplies for both indoor and outdoor units are specified ones.
Switches of all power cord and electrical leakage breaker connecting to the same outdoor unit should
be connected to the same power supply.

Remote controller
Wires of remote controller are polar with 3 cores.Group control wires of remote controller are
polar with 2 cores.
If hte supply cord is damaged,it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similar
qualified person.
The wiring method should be in line with the local wiring standard.
All the cables shall have got the European authentication certificate.
After installation,the power plug should be easily reached.
The breaker of the air cinditioner should be all pole switch,and the distance between its two contacts
should be no less 3mm.such means for disconnection must be incorporation in the fixed wiring.
The power cable and connecting cable are self-provided.
The type of cinnecting wire is shielding wire,the type of the power cord is H07RN-F(3G).
The wiring diagram refer to the wiring diagram on the indoor and outdoor units.

Solution of group control
One set of remote controller can control a group of 16 indoor unit at the most.
Refer to electrical wiring layout items for wiring layout between indoor unit.
Arrange wires between remote controller and indoor unit according to the following sequence:
(1)Set number setting switch SW01 on PC board of each indoor unit with number 1 as ì1î,
number 2 as ì2î ÖÖ (the machine directly connecting remote controller must be set as number
1î). Number 1 is the host while others are subsidiaries.
(2)Connect terminals A, B, C of the remote controller with that of number 1 indoor unit respectively
(according to same numbers).
(3)Connect terminals B, C of number 1 indoor unit with that of number 2 respectively
(according to same numbers).
(4)Connect terminals B, C of number 2 indoor unit with that of number 3 respectively
(according to same numbers).
(5)By analogy of the above, stop until connecting to terminals B, C of number 16 (at the maximum).
(6)Disassemble short connection wire to CN12 terminal on control base board of number 2-16 indoor
subassemblies to prevent wrong connection that may cause defects.
Requirement
Wires of remote controller between indoor unit should be power
cord more than 1mm≤ with length less than 500 m (total length from
remote controller to number 16 machine).
Setting of group number of indoor subassemblies
Code switch AW02 on base board of indoor unit has
the function of setting centralized control address (group number).
Group number can be set by changing ìON/OFFî status in ì1-6î code positions.
Code switch SW02 and its dialing codes are shown as following diagram:

Finishing and amendment
Wires (cables between power supply and air conditioner) MUST keep clear of valves in gas
side of distribution tube and distribution tubewithout heatproof materials.
Melting of wire skin can cause electric shock, leakage and fire hazard.
1.Wrap tapes on distribution tube of refrigerant, wires in air conditioner room and drainage pipe
after finishing these engineering.
2.Fix them on the wall with supporting frame after wrapping tapes.
3.Control wire should be fixed on distribution tube which is wrapped by heatproof materials.
Improve efficiency of cooling and heating
Adjust wind direction
Requirement
Donít handle horizontal swing leaves manually to prevent defect ouccring.
Refer to ìoperation manualî to know how to operate.
To upward or downward directions, adjust swing leaves of horizontal orientation. To prevent
short cut of air flow, horizontal leaves can only swing within a certain range.
Settings of heating temperature compensation (usage of switch SW03)
Enhance air circulation with other equipment and make hot air near the ceiling blow downward.
Poor heating effect due to reasons such as installation position of indoor subassembly and room
structure can be changed in the following way to amend heating temperature.
<How to adjust>
There is code switch SW03 on PC board of indoor assembly. Adjust TA (temperature amendment)
as the following table.

Trial run
It is absolutely FOBIDDEN to manually operate AC contactor of
outdoor unti to compulsorily execute trial run. Risk orhazard will
occur otherwise.
Requirement
1.Ensure stop valve of outdoor unit in ON status before trial run.
2.Compulsory trial run can make air conditioner run reluctantly but stop after a short while.
3.To protect compressor during start of the machine, switch its power on at time 12 hours in
priority to operation.
4.Refer to ìoperation manualî for operation sequence.
Trial run (Trial run of either cooling or heating can be carried on under any temperature
within indoor range)
1. Trail run of cooling program
Set ìrunning modeî to ìcoolingî in power-off status, then hold pressing ìon/offî button
until LED ìsetting temperatureî on remote controller flashes ìLî and ìblowing rateî
position displays ìautoî. The machine is in the status of cooling program.
2. Trial run of heating program
Set ìrunning modeî to ìheatingî in power-off status, then hold pressing ìon/offî button until LED
ìsetting temperatureî on remote controller flashes ìHî and ìblowing rateî position displays ìautoî.
The machine is in the status of cooling program.
3. Remote controller cannot be used to change various running modes during compulsory trial run.
4. Press ìON/OFFî button to stop the air conditioner after finishing compulsory trial run.
In the case that one remote controller controls multiple air conditioners, pressing ìsetting temperatureî
button during trial run can execute trial run of every indoor unit respectively. Displayed number
of indoor unit changes one step (from 1-16) in response to one press of ìsetting temperatureî button.
Indoor unit whose number have been displayed all enter trial run.
(If thereís no display, it means all indoor unit are in trial run)
Disorders in trial run
Flashing of ìStandbyî indicator lamp means:
1. Incorrect phase sequence of power supply of outdoor unit.
2. Total capacity of indoor unit exceeds that of outdoor.
It is not a defect if trouble-shooting code ì95î is displayed on remote controller when time interval
between connecting through of power supplies for indoor and outdoor units.
Confirm drainage conditions while trial run.
