1. Preparations

Remove the existing relay.

Ensure that there is enough space to operate

the cutting tool in all intended directions.

Check the space required by the replacement

IED and its wiring.

Place the cover plate in its intended location.

Mark the outline for the opening and the fixing screw

locations in each corner of the cover plate.

Drill the holes for fixing screws using a drill bit

of 4.5 mm in diameter.

3. Operating the cutting tool on a horizontal edge

Ensure that the cutting head is set in the correct

position. The text HORIZONTAL Up and Down must

point in the direction you are cutting.

Make four punches, side by side.

Ensure that you use the correct guiding,

before each cutting cycle.

After each cutting cycle, ensure that thecutting head

is clear of offcut!

Push the vent lever to release the punch

after each cutting cycle.

For your safety, keep your hands on the power unit,

never on the cutting head.

Beware of the sharp edges!

Note the cutting order. Cut the parts next to

the edges first and the middle part last.

5. Finishing your work

Finish your work and install the new IED.

Clean the offcuts from the floors.

4. Install the cover plate

Close the door and install the cover plate.

Use the self-tapping screws supplied with

the cover plate.
