BED BUGS
What To Do?
Prevention Tips:
Prior to Travel:
Spray luggage with EGG KILL Bed Bug Killer, pack
clothing and personal effects in sealable plastic bags,
bring extra resealable plastic bags for soiled clothing.
At Hotel/Destination:
• Place luggage in bathroom while you do inspection.
If there are signs of bed bug activity, check out of
that hotel.
• Never put your suitcase on the bed.
• Don’t unpack your suitcase contents into dressers.
• Re-pack luggage contents into sealable plastic bags.
Returning Home:
• Unpack luggage outside, or in a garage, laundry
room or bathroom.
• Inspect luggage and clothing for signs of activity.
• If signs are found, spray luggage again.
• Wash and dry clothing at high temperatures.
• Leave luggage in garage.
Inspect mattress and box springs for bed bug activity.
Adult bed bugs are the size of apple seeds, and leave
blood spots. Spray mattress and allow to dry.
• Wash and dry linens at high temperatures to kill bed
bugs and eggs.
• Remove clutter from around bed.
• Vacuum to pick up eggs, immature hatchlings and dead
bed bugs. Dispose of vacuum bags or empty vacuum.
• Spray night stands, wall hangings, carpets and walls
near bed with EGG KILL. Spray luggage.
• Puff Bed Bug Killer powder into cracks and crevices.
• Use mattress covers to prevent bed bugs and dust
mites from entry or escape.
Monitoring:
Watch areas for emerging activity, vacuum and retreat
as necessary.
