IN TRO DUC TION:It has been found that M20R model air craft with the Air Con di tion ing Sys tem in -

stalled and op er at ing dur ing Take off and Climb will have Car bon Mon ox ide (CO) lev els that are in ex -

cess of mini mum satu ra tion allowances. It is there fore re quested that the air con di tion ing sys tem not be

used dur ing Ground, Take Off or Climb op era tions.

Op era tion of the Air Con di tion ing Sys tem is per mit ted dur ing Cruise flight op era tions af ter com pli ance

with IN STRUC TIONS (1b.) & (2.) shown be low. It is rec om mended that an op er able CO in di ca t or be in -

stalled and moni tored at all times dur ing flight op era tions.

IN STRUC TIONS:

Op era tors may con sider ei ther of the two op tions listed be low:

1a.Pull Air Con di tioner Sys tem cir cuit breaker and in stall a Ty- rap around the stem of the Cir c uit

Breaker to pre vent it be ing pushed in and the sys tem made op er able.

1b.In stall the plac ard (shown in Parts List) above the Air Con di tioner Sys tem switch on the in stru -

ment panel stat ing:

“AIR CON DI TION ING SYS TEM

TO BE UTIL IZED DUR ING

CRUISE OP ERA TION ONLY”

2. A CO in di ca tor must be in stalled in pi lots view and moni tored at all times.
