this product. They contain im portant information on safety, usage, and disposal.
Before using the product, familiarize yourself with all handling and

fied range of applications. Please also pass these operating instruc-

Intended use
This appliance is intended to circulate air. The appliance is not intended for use
in commercial or industrial environments. Any use other than the intended use is
considered to be improper.

The following warnings types are used in these operating instructions:
This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert you to potential injury
hazards. Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to avoid pos-
sible injury and death.
WARNING indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided, could result
in death or serious injury.
CAUTION indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided, could result

appliance complies with statutory safety regulations. Improper use may result
in personal injury and property damage.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, in cluding the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE!
2. This appliance may only be used by children aged 8 years
and above and by persons with limited physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if
it is provided that they are being supervised or have been
instructed on how to use the appliance safely and are aware
of the potential risks.
3. Children must not play with the appliance.
4. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be carried out
by children unless they are supervised.
5. Check the appliance for visible external damage before
use. Do not operate appliances that have been damaged or
dropped.
6. Never operate this appliance if it is not working properly, or
if it has been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water.
Return the appliance to a service center for examination and
repair.
7. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids!
8. Do not expose the appliance to splashing and/or dripping
water and do not place objects filled with liquids, such as
vases or open drinks, on or next to the appliance.
9. Keep open flames (e.g. candles) away from the appliance at

11. Immediately turn the power off and unplug the charging cable
from the appliance if you notice a fire or smoke. Have the appli-
ance checked by a qualified specialist before using it again.
12. Use this appliance only for its intended purpose as described
in this manual.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Do not make any unauthorized changes or modifications to
the appliance.
Never open the housing of the appliance. The appliance
does not contain any parts to be maintained or replaced by
the user.
Always place the appliance on a stable and level surface. It
may get damaged if it falls.
To prevent injuries and damage to the rotor blades, do not
stick fingers or objects through the protective grill during
operation.
Keep long hair away from the appliance. It could get caught
and drawn into the appliance.
Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight or high tem-
peratures. Otherwise, it may become overheated and irrepa-
rably damaged.
If you use a USB power supply, easy access to the plug must
always be provided to ensure that the USB power supply can
be unplugged quickly in a dangerous situation. Also follow
the operating instructions that came with the USB power
supply.

The appliance features a built-in lithium ion battery. Incorrect
handling of lithium ion batteries can result in fire, explosions,
leakage of hazardous substances or other dangerous situa-
tions! Do not throw the appliance into an open fire!
Do not incinerate this fan, even if it is severely damaged. The
battery can explode in a fire. Dispose of the fan in accor-
dance with the instructions (see section Disposal).

RISK OF SUFFOCATION!
Packaging materials are not children’s toys. Therefore, children must not be
allowed to play with them.
Remove all parts of the appliance from the packaging and remove all
packaging material.
Remove the protective film from the rubber part on the bottom side of the
base 7.
If the delivery is incomplete or damage occurred as a result of defective pack-
aging or during transport, please contact the service hotline (see section 3 year
limited warranty).

Before first use
Before using the fan, the integrated battery must be
charged. When using a
USB power supply, the fan can also be used while it is charging. When the fan
is charging through a USB port on a PC or notebook, it is not recommended to
use the fan due to high power consumption. Make sure at least two other USB
ports are free to prevent damage to the PC or notebook.
Only charge the battery in dry indoor areas.
Be sure to remove the charging cable 8 after charging is complete!
Connect the USB A plug of the charging cable 8 to a suitable USB power
supply (not included in package contents) or a USB port on a PC or note-
book.
Connect the Micro-USB plug of the charging cable 8 to the Micro-USB
charging socket 3 of the fan. The Power LED 6 lights up orange during
charging. Once the Power LED 6 turns off, the built-in battery is fully
charged.
If the Power LED 6 flashes blue while using the fan, the built-in battery is dead
and has to be charged.

Handling and operation
On/Off and setting the speed
Press the button 5 to turn the fan on. The Power LED 6 lights up blue.
Press the button 5 repeatedly to switch between the three speeds (low,
medium, high).
Press the button 5 again to turn off the fan. The Power LED 6 turns off.
Positioning the fan
You can either position the fan using the supplied base 7 or by folding the
handle 4 (see Figures 1 and 2).

Cleaning
Ensure that no moisture penetrates into the appliance during cleaning to
avoid irreparable damage to the appliance.
Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based cleaners. They can damage
the surfaces of the appliance.
Never open the housing of the appliance. The appliance does not contain
any parts to be maintained or replaced by the user.
Clean the exterior of the fan with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.

Storage
Store the appliance in a dry, dust-free place, away from direct sunlight.
If the appliance has been stored for a longer period, the built-in battery
should be charged fully to extend its service life. Regularly recharge the
built-in battery when out of use for longer periods. This is necessary to
preserve the battery.
Disposal
Disposal of the appliance
Electrical appliances may not be thrown away as part of normal household
trash. If you can no longer use your electrical appliance, dispose of it in
accordance with the legal provisions applicable in your state. This will ensure
that old electrical appliances are recycled and environmental pollution is kept
to a minimum. Further information about disposal is available on the Internet at
www.epa.gov.
The built-in battery in this appliance cannot be removed for disposal.
Disposal of the packaging
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materi-
als and reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of
packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with
applicable local regulations.
Note the marking on the different packaging materials and separate
them as necessary. The packaging materials are marked with
abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meanings:
1–7: Plastics, 20–22: Paper and cardboard, 80–98: Composites

3 year limited warranty
What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:
Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.
Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or failure to follow the safety
and maintenance instructions provided in the user manual.
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile parts (such as
switches, glass, etc.);
Improper use or transport;
Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;
Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, fire, water, etc.);
Tampering with the product (such as removing cover, unscrewing screws etc.)
Consequential and incidental damages are also not covered under this warranty.
However, some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
