Allowsufficientspaceonbothsidesoftheellipticalforuserstomountand
dismountthemachine.

WhenyouremovetheEllipticalfromitsbox,firstchecktomakesurealloftheparts
arepresent.Then,readthroughtheassemblyinstructionsbeforeyoubegin.
1.RemoveonlytheupperboxandStyrofoam.(seeFig1)
DonotremovethelowerboxandStyrofoamuntilyoufinishedassembly
step5(seeFig.4).
2.Raisethemainpostintouprightposition,andsecureitwith3/8"boltsbywrench
provided.(seeFig.1)

Assoonasyouturnonthemachine,youwillautomaticallyentertheMANUAL
Mode,thewordMAN'Lwillbeshownonandtheunitdefaultstoastartingtensionof
LEVEL5.IfyouwanttostartintheMAN'Lmode,simplybeginusingtheunit.If
youstopyourworkout,STEPwillappearinthedisplaytoremindyoutocontinue
yourworkout,andthenthedisplaywillautomaticallyreturntoMAN'L.
PLEASENOTE:Thereare14levels,withLevel1beingtheeasiestworkout(the
stepswithlittletension),andLEVEL14beingthehardestworkout.
UsetheLEVELkeystochoosethedesiredlevel.
1.WhenMAN'Lappearsinthedisplaywindow,youcanadjusttheLEVELtoyour
desiredtension.
2.PresstheLEVELkeystochooseyourdesiredworkoutLEVEL.Thedisplay
willpromptyoutoSTEPtobeginyourworkout,thenthedisplaywillautomatically
returntoMAN'L.
3.Ifyoustopanytimeduringyourworkout,youwillbepromptedbySTEPto
continueyourworkout,,thenthedisplaywillautomaticallyreturntoMAN'L.All
inputdata(TIME,STEPS,CAL.,etc.)willberetained.
4.YoucanusetheMODEkeytoswitchbetweenSCAN,TIME,STEPS,CALor
PULSE.
5.UsetheMODEkeystosetyourdesiredTIMEorSTEPS,thenpressENTER
toinputthisdata.
6.WhenyoureachyourdesiredTIMEorSTEPS,thedisplaywillbeepfor1.5
seconds,thenwillbegintocountupautomatically.
1.WhileyouareintheMAN'Lmode,pressandholdtheMODEkeyfor3seconds
andSETwillappearinthedisplay.Youmaynowinputyourpersonaldata.Ifyou
donotpressanykeysduringthisstep,ENTERwillappeartopromptyoutoinput
yourdata,thenthedisplaywillautomaticallyreturntotheSETscreen.Pressthe
ENTERkeytoinputyourWEIGHT.
2.YoucanchoosebetweenKG/LBwiththeMODEkeys.Ifyoudon'tpressany
keys,thewordENTERwillbeshowntopromptyoutochooseoneortheother,
andwillthenreturntotheKG/LBscreen.

3.Nextyouwillbepromptedtoinputyourweight.Thedefaultstartingweight(either
50LBor22KG)willbedisplayed.UsetheMODEkeystochangetheweight.
Pressingthekeyoncechangestheweight1LBor1KG.Holdingthekeydown
willchangetheweight10LBor5KGevery0.5seconds.Theweightrange
availableis44-330LBand22-150KG.Whenyouhavesetyourdesiredweight,
pressENTERtoconfirmitandthesystemwillrecorditautomatically.Ifyoudon't
pressENTERtoconfirmthedata,ENTERwillappearinthedisplaytopromptyou
topressENTER,andthenthedisplaywillautomaticallyreturntotheweightdata
window.
1.PresstheSTRIDEkeystoadjuststridelength.Thestridelengthrangeis
between450mm~650mm(17"~26").
2.TheSTRIDEwindowwilldisplaySPM(STRIDES/MIN).
Theellipticaltraineroffersthree(3)professionallydesignedworkoutprogramsfrom
whichtochoose.Theprogramcontrolsthetensionlevelautomaticallythroughout
yourworkout.
1.PressthePROGRAMkeytoscrollbetweenthethree(3)Programsandthe
PROGX(Xmeans1,2or3)willappear.Whenyouhaveselectedtheprogram
youwant,pressENTERtoconfirm.Ifyoudon'tpressENTER,thedisplaywill
promptyoutopressENTER.
2.AfteryouhavechosenyourdesiredPROGRAM,TIME/STEPSwillappear.Use
theMODEkeytochoosebetweenSTEPSorTIME.Onceyouhavemadeyour
choice,pressENTER.Ifyoudon'tpressENTER,thedisplaywillpromptyouto
PRESSENTER.
3.UsetheMODEkeystosetthedesiredTIMEorSTEPS,thenpressENTER
toinputthisdata
4.WhenyoureachthedesiredTIMEorSTEPS,thedisplaywillbeepfor1.5
seconds,thenwillbegintocountupautomatically.

USINGTHEINTERVALMODE
1.TheellipticaltrainerincludesacustomINTERVALprogramwhichallowsyouto
designyourownpersonalizedworkoutprogram.Thereare8programmable
segmentsintheIntervalmode.
2.PressthePROGRAMkeyuntilINTVappearsinthedisplay.PressENTERto
chooseINTV.Ifyoudon'tpressENTER,thedisplaywillpromptyoutopress
ENTER.
3.AfterpressingENTER,SEG:1willappearinthewindow.Youcansetthe
SEGMENT1workloadnow.
3.1TIMEandLEVELdefaultsettingsappearinthewindow(or,ifyouhaveused
thisINTVbefore,thesettingsfromyourpreviousworkoutappear).
3.2PresstheMODE keystoadjusttime.
3.3PresstheLEVELkeystoadjustresistance.
3.4PressENTERtoconfirmyoursettings.Ifyoudon'tpressENTER,thedisplay
willpromptyoutopressENTER.
AfteryoupressENTER,SEG:2willappearinthewindow.Repeatthestepsabove
forSegments2-8.Ifyoudon'twanttosetall8segments,youcansettheTIMEfor
thefinalsegmenttozero.Forexample,ifyouonlywanttosetfoursegments,
leavesegment5'sTIMEwithavalueofzero,andtheElliptical805Pwilluseonly
thefirstfoursegments.

4.Onceyouhavesetalldesiredsegments,pressENTERonelasttime,andyour
ownpersonalizedprogram,underINTERVAL,willbeappearedinthewindow.
5.Youcanchangetheloadlevelanytimeduringyourworkoutbypressingthe

6.Ifyoustopinthemiddleofyourworkout,youwillbepromptedtoSTEPtostart,
thenthedisplaywillautomaticallyreturntotheformerdisplaywindow.Allinput

7.WhenyouhavecompletedyourINTVworkout,theelectronicswillbeepfor1.5

SCAN:PresstheMODEkeyuntilSCANappears,andthedisplaywillautomatically
alternatebetweenTIME,STEPS,CALandPULSE.
TIME:Usethekeystosetthedesiredtimeofyourworkout.Eachpressofthe
keychangesthetimeinincrementsof1minute.Pressingandholdingthekey
willchangethedisplayby5minutesevery0.5seconds.Whenyouhave
reachedyourdesiredtime,pressENTER.
Duringyourworkout,theelectronicspackagewillcountdown,andthenbeepfor1.5
secondswhenyourdesiredtimeisreached.Ifyourworkoutcontinues,theunitwill
