high magnetic field.
Make sure that the receiver is at least 10 feet (3 meters)
above the floor and 10 feet (3 meters) from surrounding
walls.

Repairs

3 Volume control Turn the volume control with the volume adjustment tool
to adjust the volume if you experience signal interference

Setting up your wireless

The following illustration shows two basic ways to connect your receiver
to an amplifier.
Note: When you install the receiver, make sure that it is at
least 10 feet (3 meters) off the floor and at least 10 feet (3
meters) away from surrounding walls.
To set up the receiver:
1 Place the receiver on a flat, stable surface.
2 Fully extend the antenna, and make sure it is perpendicular
to the receiver.
3 Open the battery compartment, install two AA batteries
into the battery compartment, then close the
compartment. Make sure that the + and – symbols on the
batteries align with the + and – symbols inside the battery
compartment.
4 Plug one end of the audio cable into the AUDIO OUT jack on
the receiver.

5 Plug the other end of the audio cable into the MIX IN or
AUX IN on an external amplifier.
6 Slide the power switch to the ON position. The POWER
indicator lights.
To install the transmitter battery:
1 Slide the battery compartment cover to open the battery
compartment.
2 Insert the 9V battery into the battery compartment. Make
sure that the + and – symbols on the battery align with
the + and – symbols inside the battery compartment.
3 Slide the cover to close the compartment.
Using your wireless microphone
Note: You can use your wireless microphone within a range of
164 feet (50 meters) of the receiver. The ideal range is 82 feet
(25 meters).
To use your wireless microphone:
1 Turn on the receiver.
2 Plug the headset into the AF input jack on the transmitter.
3 Place the headset on your head.
4 Turn on the transmitter.
5 If you experience interference from nearby devices, use the
volume adjustment tool to adjust the volume.

Caution: Do not open the open the receiver or transmitter
cases. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
Symptom Possible solution
Receiver is turned on, but POWER
indicator does not light.
Make sure that the batteries are installed
correctly. You must match the + and –
symbols on the batteries with the + and –
symbols in the battery compartment.
Make sure that the batteries have a charge.
Change the batteries, if necessary.
The RF indicator lights when
speaking into the headset, but
there is no sound.
Make sure that the volume control is not
set too low.
Make sure that the audio cable is
connected securely to the receiver and
amplifier.
The signal range is too small. Make sure that the antenna is fully
extended.
Make sure that the batteries are installed
correctly. You must match the + and –
symbols on the batteries with the + and –
symbols in the battery compartment.
Make sure that the batteries have a charge.
Change the batteries, if necessary.
Make sure that the receiver or transmitter
are not located within a magnetic field.

1-year limited warranty
Dynex Products (“Dynex”) warrants to you, the original purchaser of this
new DX-M1113 (“Product”), that the Product shall be free of defects in
the original manufacture of the material or workmanship for a period of
one (1) year from the date of your purchase of the Product (“Warranty
Period”). This Product must be purchased from an authorized dealer of
Dynex brand products and packaged with this warranty statement. This
warranty does not cover refurbished Product. If you notify Dynex during
the Warranty Period of a defect covered by this warranty that requires
service, terms of this warranty apply.
How long does the coverage last?
The Warranty Period lasts for one year (365 days) from the date you
purchased the Product. The purchase date is printed on the receipt you
received with the product.
What does this warranty cover?
During the Warranty Period, if the original manufacture of the material or
workmanship of the Product is determined to be defective by an
authorized Dynex repair center or store personnel, Dynex will (at its sole
option): (1) repair the Product with new or rebuilt parts; or (2) replace the
Product at no charge with new or rebuilt comparable products or parts.
Products and parts replaced under this warranty become the property of
Dynex and are not returned to you. If service of Products and parts are
required after the Warranty Period expires, you must pay all labor and
parts charges. This warranty lasts as long as you own your Dynex Product
during the Warranty Period. Warranty coverage terminates if you sell or
otherwise transfer the Product.

If you purchased the Product at a retail store location, take your original
receipt and the Product to the store you purchased it from. Make sure that
