Watlow DPAC

The Watlow DPAC is an SCR or thyristor power control utilizing the zero crossover firing method. DPACs come in three models: DPAC-1, DPAC-3, and DPAC-43. The DPAC-1 is a single phase model, the DPAC-3 is a three phase model, and the DPAC-43 is a four wire, three phase model.

All DPAC models use only one set of back-to-back SCR's, except for the DPAC-43, which utilizes three sets of back-to-back SCR's.

DPACs are commonly used to control the power in an ungrounded delta or Y three phase load, as well as in a four wire Y grounded load. They can also be used to control the power in heaters, lighting, and motors, among other applications. Additionally, DPACs feature:
