INTENDED USE
The DeRoyal Fall Mat is intended to help provide
protection to the patient in the event of a fall from a
bed, wheelchair, gurney or recliner.
PRECAUTIONS
This product is to be used by a physician (or
properly licensed practitioner) who is familiar
with the purpose for which it is intended. The
physician or practitioner is responsible for providing
instructions and precautions to other healthcare
practitioners or healthcare providers involved in
the patient’s care as well as the patient. Follow the
instructions of your physician (or properly licensed
practitioner) for length and duration of use.
WARNINGS
It is critical that the embossed, shiny surface faces out
when the mat is rolled up to protect product integrity.
The manufacture does not claim that this device will
protect any and all injuries sustained in the event of
a fall.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Place a fall mat on the floor beside the bed. If
using two mats, place one on either side of the
bed.
2. Make sure the fall mats are placed adjacent to
the length of the bed so there is no exposed floor
between the bed and the mat.
3. When transferring a patient from the wheelchair
to the bed, make sure the wheels roll up onto the
beveled side of the mat.
4. To store the fall mat, flip the mat over on the floor
so that the embossed shiny side of the mat is
facing the floor. Take one end of the mat and roll
it tightly.
SIZING: Universal 5/8” x 29” x 70”
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Wipe clean with disinfectant or cleaning solution.
