HIGHLIGHTS
BX 520 TWS is a compact water-resistant stereo Bluetooth speaker that can be
wirelessly connected to Bluetooth devices such as smart phones, tablets and
computers to playback any music. Thanks to the powerful battery and passive
radiator, the system delivers rich powerful sound. It can support about 7 to11
hours’ play time and is the perfect companion for you to use in the park, while
camping or on the beach. Therefore, users can enjoy high-quality music anytime
and anywhere.
CHARGING
How to charge
The battery needs to be charged before rst use.
1. Plug the USB charging cable into the micro USB charging port (DC IN).
2. Plug the other end of the cable into a USB charging device.

Note: Use a USB charging device with output characteristics of 5V/2A for best
charging perfomance. When the battery charge < 3%, the speaker will power
off automatically. You can use the unit while charging.

POWER ON/OFF
Power on by pressing 1 until you hear a rising tone and the LED indicator
turns on.
Power off by pressing 1 until you hear a descending tone and the LED indicator
turns off.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
Make sure that the BX 520 TWS is within 10 meters from your Bluetooth audio
device.
Connect to mobile phones/tablet pcs/computers
1. Press 1 button until hear a rising tone and LED indicator fast blinking blue.
2. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device, search and select
“BX 520 TWS“ from the list.
3. Once paired, the LED indicator turns solid blue.
Note: Pairing time varies. Each device only needs pairing the rst time,
after that it will auto connect to the most recently paired device (the speaker
memory stores up to 8 devices). The speaker will automatically shut down
after 10 minutes in pairing mode if no devices are paired for power saving.

Bluetooth Disconnection
Press + and - buttons simultaneously until the LED indicator starts to blinking
fast blue to disconnect the current connected device, and go into new Bluetooth-
paring mode.
TWS (TRUE WIRELESS STEREO) FUNCTION
The TWS technology enables you to use two speakers pairing via Bluetooth to
create a wireless dual-channel system to deliver true stereo sound effect.
TWS connection operation
1. Place the two BX 520 TWS speakers near each other (the distance should not
be over 10 meters).
2. Power on the two speakers, double click the 1 button on one speaker as
MASTER speaker (playback left channel ), the LED indicator fast blinking blue
and green, then the two speaker will pair to each other automatically (The
other speaker will be as SLAVE speaker and playback right channel)
3. Once paired, the MASTER speaker LED indicator slowly ash blue.
Disconnect the TWS connection
Press

and

button on one of the speaker simultaneously until LED Indicator
fast blinking blue to disconnect the TWS connection.
LISTENING MUSIC FROM EXTERNAL AUDIO SOURCE
The speaker also features 1 x AUX-in audio in port. Simply connect the speaker
and your non-Bluetooth audio source with the 3.5mm jack audio cable.
1. Power on the speaker.
2. Using the AUX Cable(3.5 mm), connect your external device to AUX-in port
on speaker.
3. lt will automatically turn to AUX-in mode, the LED Indicator turns solid green.
Note: Under AUX-IN mode, skip songs and speakerphone function are not
workable.
IPX6 WATER-RESISTANT FEATURE
This Speaker is IPX6 Water-Resistant for rainfall, spills, or water jets,but do NOT
submerge it in water or liquids.
IMPORTANT!
To ensure the speaker is prepared for water-resistant use, remove all the
cable connections and close the port protection cover tightly.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
Cannot power on
Charge the speaker and make sure it has enough battery.
Cannot connect with the device
The Bluetooth device does NOT support A2DP profile.
The speaker is NOT within 10 m from the device.
The speaker is in pairing mode, the LED indicator blinking blue.
No Sound
Make sure the music volume is at audible level on both your device and
speaker
Make sure your device is successfully paired with the speaker. The LED
indicator should be solid blue.
Poor sound quality
Move the device closer to this speaker or remove any obstacle between them.
Reset the speaker
If the function buttons stops working, disconnect the charging cable, place a
small pin (< 3 mm) into the reset key and hold it for 2 seconds until the LED
light off.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
The unit and the accessories can contain small parts. Keep all of the equipment out of the reach of
small children. The mains adapter is the disconnect device between the product and mains power.
The mains socket outlet must be close to the equipment and easily accessible.
AREAS WITH EXPLOSION RISK
Always turn off the unit when you are in an area where there is a risk of explosion. Follow all signs
and instructions. There is a risk of explosion in places that include areas where you are normally
requested to turn off your car engine. In these areas, sparks can cause explosion or re which can
lead to personal injury or even death.
Turn off the unit at lling stations, and any other place that has fuel pumps and auto repair facilities.

sold, chemical factories and places where blasting is in progress. Areas with risk for explosion are

LI-ION BATTERY
This product contains a Li-ion battery. There is a risk of re and burns if the battery pack is handled
improperly.
WARNING
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. To reduce risk of re or burns, do not
disassemble, crush, puncture, short external contacts, expose to temperature above 60° C (140° F),
or dispose of in re or water. Recycle or dispose of used batteries according to the local regulations

PROTECT YOUR HEARING

WHEN YOU FLY
It is prohibited to use the unit in ight. Turn off the unit before you board a plane. Using wireless
Bluetooth units inside a plane can pose risks to air safety and interfere with telecommunications.
It may also be illegal.
CLEAN THE UNIT
Clean the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not use any sprays near the unit. Do not use any solvents, chemicals, or cleaning solutions
containing alcohol, ammonia or abrasives.
Do not allow liquids to spill into any openings.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Your unit is a technically advanced product and should be treated with the greatest care.
Negligence may void the warranty.
Do not use or keep the unit in dusty, dirty environments. The unit’s moving parts and electronic
components can be damaged.
Do not keep the unit in warm places. High temperatures can reduce the lifespan for electronic
equipment, damage batteries and distort or melt certain plastics.
Do not keep the unit in cold places. When the unit warms up to normal temperature, condensation
can form on the inside which can damage the electronic circuits.
Do not try to open the unit in any other way than that which is indicated here.
Do not drop the unit. Do not knock or shake it either. If it is treated roughly the circuits and
precision mechanics can be broken.
Do not use strong chemicals to clean the unit.
The advice above applies to the unit, battery, mains adapter and other accessories. If the phone is
not working as it should, please contact the place of purchase for service. Don’t forget the receipt
or a copy of the invoice.

If you detect a defect resulting from manufacturing and/or material faults within 24 months from
purchase, please contact your dealer. The warranty does not apply for improper treatment or failure
to comply with information contained in this user guide, for interference on device executed by
dealer or user (e. g. installations, software downloads,…) and for total loss. Furthermore it does
not apply to ingress of liquids, use of force, non-maintenance, improper operation or other circum-
stances caused by the user. It also does not apply to failure caused by a thunderstorm or any other
voltage uctuations. The manufacturer reserves the right in this case to charge the customer for
replacement or repair. For wear parts such as batteries, keyboard or casing a restricted warranty
