Overview
The DMX-Recorder represents the professional variant of an DMX admission and/or a
playback unit in our portfolio.
 DMX channels can be taken up. Its operational area are smaller exhibition booths,
demo areas, shows, xed installations, restaurants, bars and clubs, in order to call
only a small selection.
In the display of the DMX-Player the individual functions of the equipment can be
served clearly. Like that it is simply to handle also for users without technical previous
knowledge.
With the DMX-Recorder we have created a device equipment, which is very versatile
applicable and both in the professional illuminating engineering as well as for the end
consumer a consistent solution oers its installation into another light to move again
and again new.

Installation
Aer unpacking, check the device immediately for any possible damage caused by transport.
Damaged units cannot be put into operation.
If the DMX-Recorder is transported from a cold environment into a warm room, let it warm
up for at least three hours before putting into operation. This allows any built-up condensa-
tion to evaporate and therefore avoids damaging the electronics.
When mounting on racks, please make sure there is enough air supply to the front and the
back. The supply air temperature should never go over ˚C. When installing the DMX-Re-
corder into a rack, it should be mounted on tracks to unburden the unit’s front plate and to
make service easier.
Connect the DVI-input, the Ethernet input and the power supply one aer the other. Once
all connectors are hooked up, the unit can be turned on. Aer about an hour, the DMX-Re-
corder is ready for operation. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight. Never use aggressive
cleaning agents or water. Simply wipe with a damp cloth. A mild cleaning agent can be used
if necessary.
