usage, and disposal of the product. Before using the

Keep these operating instructions in a safe location. In
addition, please pass these documents on, together
with the product, to any future owner.
Intended use
The car phone holder is a communications device,
and is used to hold and charge cell phones (and other
5V devices with a USB port) in a car. The car/USB
adapter is only suitable for vehicles with a cigarette
lighter whose negative pole is connected to a ground.
The Smart Fast Charge technology
reduces charging time significantly for
compatible devices. It automatically
sends a signal to compatible connected devices that
they are using the maximum available charging current.

This device is not intended to be used by persons
(including children) with limited physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are being supervised or have
been instructed on how to use the device safely.
Children must be supervised and prevented from
playing with the device.
Packaging materials (e.g. films or hard foam) are
not children’s toys. There is a risk of suffocation!
Check the device for visible external damage
before use. Do not operate devices that have been
damaged or dropped.
If the power cord or ports are damaged, have them
replaced by an authorized specialist or customer
service to avoid risks.
Never open the device and do not perform any
repairs yourself.

Ensure that no moisture or liquids penetrate the
device.
Never subject the device to extreme heat or high
humidities, especially when storing it in a vehicle.
The vehicle standing for longer periods of time or
warm, sunny weather can result in high tempera-
tures in the interior and glove department. Remove
electrical and electronic devices from the vehicle.
When mounting the holder, make sure it will not
interfere with steering, braking or using any other
vehicle systems (e.g. airbags), or block your view
while driving.
Do not place the car holder in the airbag deploy-
ment area or near it, as it could be flung through
the vehicle interior if the airbag is triggered and
cause serious injuries.
Make sure the holder is not mounted at a location
that could come into direct contact with you during
an accident or collision.
Also follow the operating instructions that came
with your cell phone/end device.
If you notice an odor or smoke coming from the
device, disconnect it from the cigarette lighter
immediately.

Do not breathe in the smoke, as it is hazardous to
your health.
Regularly check whether the suction cup is correctly
attached to the windshield at the bottom edge of
the holder. This is especially important in areas
where outside temperatures often fluctuate signifi-
cantly.
Follow all local laws. Whenever driving, your
hands must be free to operate the vehicle.
Road safety must always take priority while driving.
Only use this holder if it does not present a risk in
any driving situation.

Check package contents
Before first use, check whether the package contents
are complete and look for any visible damage (see
fig. A and B). If the delivery is incomplete or damage
has occurred as a result of defective packaging or
during transport, contact the customer service hotline
(see 3 year limited warranty section). Remove all
parts from the packaging and remove all packaging
material from the device.

Fitting the car cradle
Unscrew the screw ring 4 counterclockwise from
the car holder.
Place the screw ring 4 over the ball joint 3 and
press the ball joint 3 into the ball joint socket 5
(see fig. C).
Screw the screw ring 4 clockwise onto the ball
joint socket 5 until tight.

Mounting the suction cup
Make sure that the surface you want to attach the
suction cup to is clean, dry and free of grease. Make
sure that the suction cup locking arm 2 is released.
Push the suction cup 1 against the windshield
and press the suction cup locking arm 2 upward.
This generates a vacuum, and the suction cup 1 is
attached to the windshield.
You can adjust the horizontal and vertical direction
to your needs using the 360° ball joint 3.
To remove the suction cup 1 from your windshield,
move the suction cup locking arm 2 downward
and pull on the tab on the edge of the suction cup.
Insert cell phone into car holder
Back Press the PRESS button 7 and the side
brackets 6 on the car holder automati-
cally move outward.
Place the cell phone on the car holder bottom
bracket 8.
Push the car holder side brackets 6 inward until
your cell phone is secured.
Press the PRESS button 7 to remove the cell
phone from the car holder.

Charging the cell phone
Connect the car/USB adapter 9 to your vehicle’s
on-board power supply (cigarette lighter). The
operating LED w lights up white to indicate that
the car USB adapter 9 is ready for use. Depend-
ing on the vehicle type, the ignition may have to be
turned on first.
Connect the charging cable r to the USB port
type A e on the car/USB adapter 9 and the
cell phone. To use the USB Type-C connector z,
plug it into the micro-USB connector t. Charging
begins immediately and will be indicated on the
cell phone display.
To use the USB port type C q you will need an
appropriate cable, which is not supplied. Contact
your local electronics dealer.
Once charging is complete, remove the car/USB
adapter 9 from the cigarette lighter by pulling on
the ring tab 0.

For vehicles in which the cigarette lighter works
when the ignition is off, the device must be discon-
nected from the cigarette lighter after use.
Otherwise, the vehicle battery will run down over a
longer period of time, as the device also consumes
power in its non-operating state.
Troubleshooting
A connected device won’t charge
(The white operating LED w does not light up)
No connection to cigarette lighter. Check the
connection.
Depending on the vehicle type, the ignition may
have to be turned on first.
The white operating LED w turns off after a
device is connected
The car/USB adapter 9 is overloaded and no
longer charges the connected devices. The internal
fuse tripped. Disconnect all connected devices
from the car/USB adapter 9. The white operating
LED w will light up right away and the car/USB
adapter 9 is operational again.

above, please contact the customer service hotline
(see 3 year limited warranty section).
Cleaning and maintenance
Disconnect the device from the cigarette lighter
before cleaning it and when it is out of use.
If necessary, clean the device with a damp cloth.
Regularly check the condition of the device.
Do not use the device if you notice any damage.
Store when not in use
The temperatures inside the car can reach extreme
values in summer and winter. To prevent damage,
do not store the device in the vehicle.
Store the device in a dry, dust-free place, away
from direct sunlight.
