This addendum is in addition to the Installation and Operation
Manuals provided with IHP Electronic gas appliances listed to
Z21.88 / CSA 2.33 (standard for Vented Gas Fireplace Heaters)
and are sold in areas where local codes prohibit use of fireplaces
with standing or continuous pilots (CPI).
DISABLING THE CPI INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE: Standing Pilots are not allowed in areas where local
codes prohibit use of fireplaces with standing or continuous
pilots (CPI), therefore the CPI function must be disabled per
these instructions.
SIT Proflame I System (see below)
Disconnect the 2 wires from the IPI/CPI switch (see Figures 1A & 1B)
1) Remove the switch and discard
2) CPI function will be disabled
NOTE: The Fireplace shall not be operated in the continuous
pilot mode.

1) Cut gray jumper wire on module (see Figure 2)
2) Once the gray jumper wire is cut the CPI function on the
remote control will be disabled
NOTE: The Fireplace shall not be operated in the continuous
