EAST COAST Vienna is a Swinging Crib that provides a safe and comfortable environment for your baby. It is designed to meet BS EN 1130:1997 safety standards and is suitable for use from birth up to the point when a child is able to sit, kneel or pull itself up. The crib features a sturdy metal frame and a comfortable mattress with maximum dimensions of 88.5 x 39.5cm. The mattress thickness should not reduce the internal vertical height above it to less than 200mm. This is indicated by a small mark on the side of the crib.

Thiscribshouldbeassembledbyanadult,preferablywiththehelpofanassistant.
Pleasenotethatacross-headed and a flat bladed screwdriver will be required to complete the assembly
of this product.
Allfittingsshouldalwaysbefullytightened.Takecarethatnofittingsareloose,becauseachildcould
trappartsofthebodyorclothing(e.g.strings,necklaces,ribbonsforsoothersetc),whichwouldposea
riskof strangulation.
Lay out the parts on a soft level surface and compare to the part/fixing checklist below. Do not discard
any packaging until you are sure that you have all the parts.
Keep children clear during assembly as pack contains small parts which may present a choking hazard.
You will need the following tools to complete assembly:
Flat-headed screwdriver. Cross-headed screwdriver.

1. Insert metal washer between
Upright and Wooden Spacer.
2. Push Long Bolt through
Upright, Metal Washer, Wooden
Spacer and Metal Tube.
3. Attach T-Nut to the end of the
Long Bolt.
4. Tighten using one hexagon key
in the Long Bolt and the other
in the T-Nut.
5. Repeat on other End.

NOTE:
To unlock the crib body and allow it to rock, pull the lock handle out and give 1/4 turn in either
direction.
To lock the body to the frame, pull back on the Locking handle and give a further 1/4 turn and
release. Ensure that the end of the Lock has engaged in the hole in the End.
If you leave your child in this product unsupervised, you should always make sure that the lock is
engaged to prevent the crib from swinging.

Regularlycheckforfirmnessofscrewsordamagewhichcouldrenderyourswingingcribunsafeor
cause splinters.
Tocleanuseadampcloth,avoidingtheuseofstrongdetergentsorabrasives.
Anoccasionallightapplicationofawaxpolishwillhelpmaintainagoodappearance.
To operate the locking mechanism on your crib, twist the lock handle a quarter turn in either direction
and release. The lock will engage in the small hole in the bottom of the crib side and prevent it from
swinging. To unlock the crib and allow it to swing, pull the lock handle outward and twist it a quarter turn
in either direction.
If you leave your child in this product unsupervised, you should always make sure that the lock is
engaged to prevent the crib from swinging.
