Identification of the manufacturer and the equipment
The identification plate of the equipment and manufacturer, affixed on the frame behind the weight stack, gives the following details:
A Name and address of the manufacturer
B CE Mark
C Serial number
D Cautions and maximum user weight
E Equipment classification

Description of the equipment
Seat (A): where the user sits to perform the exercise.
Bar (B): moved by the user to perform the exercise.
Rollers (C): allow you to use workloads equal to or higher than body
weight. Their position is adjustable in depth by means of the rollers
lever (D) after having released it by operating the button positioned
on it.
Weight stack (E): the bar, operated by the user, moves the weights
along two guides by means of a cable. A pin (F) is used for selecting
the load in order to adjust the exercise effort level.

Safety labels and warnings
The equipment does not have any sharp corners.
All the parts which come into contact with the body are adequately protected with rubber coverings or padding.
WARNINGS
During all operations involving transport, maintenance and cleaning, pay attention to any part of the equipment where
body parts may become trapped.
It is important to pay attention to the labels affixed to the equipment, as they provide information about possible risks
and hazards.
We recommend immediately replacing the labels when they become damaged or difficult to read.
Pay particular attention to the parts of the equipment with labels indicating the “DANGER OF
SQUASHING”.

Place of installation
To guarantee safe, comfortable and effective use of the equipment, the place of installation must comply with certain specific requirements;
in particular, before choosing where to install the equipment it is recommended to check the following:
- temperature between +10°C and +25°C;
- sufficient ventilation to maintain a humidity level between 20% and 90%, when the equipment is in use;
- adequate lighting, so that the physical exercise takes place in pleasant and relaxing conditions;
- sufficient clearance on all sides of the equipment, taking into account its maximum dimensions during the movements, necessary
for safety reasons;
- a flat, stable and vibration-free floor surface, with adequate carrying capacity for the equipment’s weight.
If the equipment is installed in a public recreational area, the place must conform to all the requirements prescribed by the regulations
in force.
WARNING
The equipment must be installed and used in a place whose access and supervision are specifically controlled by the
owner.

Unpacking
The equipment is supplied fully assembled in a carton and protected by cellophane wrapping, and secured to a pallet.
The equipment can be lifted and handled using normal lifting machine.
In order to ensure the safety of persons and property, carefully determine the lifting and handling machine used as a function of the
place of installation.
To remove the equipment from the packing:
- cut the carton along the bottom and pull it away from the top;
- remove the cellophane by pulling it away from the top;
- untie the straps securing the equipment to the pallet;
- lift the equipment from the weight stack side and place it on the ground.
WARNINGS
Given the weight of the equipment, we recommend that more than one person be involved in lifting it.
The packing materials (boxes, bags, etc.) must not be left within the reach of children, as they constitute a possible
hazard; nor must they be disposed of in the environment.

Lifting and handling the equipment
To move the equipment, use normal lifting and handling machine.
WARNING
The equipment must be moved with great care, due to the risk of it tipping over.
Lift the equipment from the weight stack side, as shown in the figure.
WARNINGS
Given the weight of the equipment, we recommend that more than one
person be involved in lifting it.
It is recommended to place some padded material between the frame
and the lifting machine.

Routine maintenance
WARNINGS
The safety of the equipment is assured only on condition that it is carefully inspected for signs of damage and/or wear
every two weeks.
Replace defective and worn components immediately, or alternatively remove the equipment from service.
The equipment should always be kept clean and free of dust, in compliance with good hygiene practice, especially if it is used in a gym
or by more than one person.
To clean the padded parts, use a moist cloth or a sponge and mild soap.
Every week, clean the outer parts of the equipment using a damp sponge.
WARNING
Be careful not to rub with excessive force on the drawings and instructions shown on the labels.
To lubricate the weight stack guides:
- use a soft cloth to remove any dust and oil residues from the guides;
- slightly moisten the cloth with the oil supplied;
- using this cloth, apply a very thin layer of lubricant over the guides, being careful not to apply too much.
For maintenance actions not described in this manual, call in the Technogym Technical Service.

Replacing the padded components
If any of the padded components show signs of wear, it is advisable, especially in the interests of hygiene, to replace them
completely.
In order to replace the seat loosen the screws on the opposite side to the padding.
In order to replace the roller pads remove the cover (A) and unscrew the screw (B); then remove the washer (C) and the roller pads.

Replacing the cable
To replace the cable, proceed as follows:
- dismantle the bar;
- raise the rubber gaiter (A);
- unscrew the screws (B) and extract the cable from the attachment (C);
- back off the lock nut (D) and unscrew the adjuster (E);
- extract the cable from the adjuster side;

Replacing the cable
- insert the new cable beginning on the adjuster side (follow the original path of
the cable as shown in the figure);
- insert a thickness of approx. 10 mm (1/2”) under the first weight of the weight
stack;

Replacing the cable
- put in the adjuster (E);
- insert the rubber gaiter (A) and the attachment (C), then tighten the screws (B);
- lower the rubber gaiter (A);
- adjust the cable tension and tighten the lock nut (D);
- remove 10 mm thickness (1/2”) from the weight stack.
WARNING
ALWAYS use cables supplied directly by Technogym.
The cables must always be replaced at the first sign of wear, even if it only affects
the outer rubber protection.

Every month, carefully inspect the condition of the cables.

Adjusting cable tension
It is possible to take up some of the slack in the weight stack cable using the
adjuster (E), after loosening the lock nut (D).
WARNING
To pull the cable taut after replacement, it may be helpful, when tightening
the screws (A), to insert a thickness of approx. 10 mm (1/2”) under the
first weight in the weight stack.

Replacing the spring hook
WARNING
Once a month, carefully check the conditions of the spring hook.
Always replace the spring hooks as soon as you notice the slightest signs of wear,
deformity, difficulty closing, or anything else that may interfere with its robustness.
When replacing, always use a spring hook supplied directly by Technogym. If it is impossible to obtain an original part, use a spring
hook that strictly meets the following minimum requirements:
- materials used: AISI 316 stainless steel;
- maximum capacity on main axis: 800 kg (1764 lb).
WARNING
Do not alter the spring hooks in any way.

Storage
If the equipment will not be used for a prolonged period, it is recommended to store it:
- in a clean and dry place, covered with a cloth to protect it from dust;
- in an environment with a temperature between +10°C and +25°C and a humidity between 20% and 90%.
For correct storage, use the original packing materials.
Disposing of the equipment
It is always good practice to ensure that the equipment can never constitute a hazard; therefore do not leave the equipment where
children might use it as a toy.
Do not dispose of the equipment in the environment, or in public or private areas accessible to the public.
The equipment is made from recyclable materials such as steel, aluminium and plastic, which must be disposed of in the manner
prescribed by the urban refuse collection regulations in force, by specialist environmental firms.

Using the equipment
Sit down and position your legs underneath the roller pads. To adjust the height of
the roller pads release the rollers lever (A) by operating the button positioned on it.
Select the workload with the pin (B).
Grasp the bar evenly.

Using the equipment
Pull the bar down; make sure that your spine does not bend during the exercise.
Maintain a smooth controlled speed through the movement while staying in control
of the weight.
At the end of the exercise return the weight stack to the starting position.
