This user manual will help you assemble and operate your powerful new
HOVERFLY ECO Hoverboard. Be sure to read ALL OF THE INFORMATION in
this manual before you use your Hoverfly ECO.
NOTE TO ALL RIDERS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE: It’s very important that you
get parental permission before riding your HOVERFLY ECO Hoverboard.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:

for detailed instructions, safety warnings, and guidelines.
ALWAYS wear a helmet and other safety equipment when riding the
hoverboard.
The hoverboard can lose power or braking effectiveness because
of a low battery.
Always be aware of local road laws, and follow them. Don’t ride on busy
roads. Always respect pedestrians.
Do not ride the hoverboard under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Do not ride under wet conditions, since the hoverboard is more likely
to slide. Avoid water, since it can damage the electronics and void the
warranty.
Riding on hills can be very dangerous. Be careful and maintain your
balance. Steep grades can also put stress on the motor and electronics,
so avoid extensive use on steep hills.

STEP 1: UNPACK
You should find each of these items from your HOVERFLY ECO
container:
1. GOTRAX HOVERFLY ECO Hoverboard
2. Power Adapter / Charging Unit
Remove all packing material, then inspect each item for any
accidental damage that may have occurred during shipping.
The HOVERFLY ECO comes fully assembled. Take time to get
familiar with the hoverboard and all of its external parts.
STEP 2: GET TO KNOW
YOUR HOVERBOARD
STEP 3: CHARGE THE
HOVERFLY ECO
Using only the provided and approved power adapter /
charging unit, fully charge your HOVERFLY ECO prior to first use.
TIP:
Before you extend the power cord from the socket to
the hoverboard, plan your route and note any potential
obstacles, hazards, or debris that might block your path.
Always wear your helmet and appropriate footwear when operating
your HOVERFLY ECO Hoverboard.
Safety gear might look good on you. Most importantly, it saves lives
every day.
STEP 4: WEAR PROPER GEAR
OPERATING
THE HOVERFLY
ECO
Press the power button on the back left side of your HOVERFLY ECO.
The system indicator light will turn on.
STEP 1: POWER UP THE UNIT
STEP 2: BOARDING THE
HOVERFLY ECO
• Find a wide open space that will give you plenty of room in
which to practice balancing on your HOVERFLY ECO.
• Place your HOVERFLY ECO on the ground directly in front of
your feet.
• With one foot, step on to the hoverboard platform.
• Keeping the other foot on the ground, ensure that your feet
are facing forward and spaced evenly with the hoverboard.
• Step up with your other foot on to the platform and stand
upright.
• Relax, with knees slightly bent.
• Avoid sudden or jerking movements.
TIP:
Watch out to avoid collision with other people, cars,
animals and other objects.
• Forward Acceleration: Lean forward slightly, as if gently
pushing down with your toes.
• Slow to Stop: Return to the upright position with your weight
evenly balanced.
• Turning: Lean and shift your weight slightly in the direction you
want to travel. See the tip below.
TURNING TIPS:
To make a sharp right turn, push gently down with your left
toes. To make a sharp left turn, push gently down with your
right toes.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Safety indicator lights and/or automatic shutdown will engage if
any of the following occur:
• The motor is overheated from overuse.
• The surface is too steep, or the HOVERFLY ECO is tilted too much.
• The power source is low on energy, which means it’s time to charge
the HOVERFLY ECO.
STEP 3: GLIDING
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Safety indicator lights and/or automatic shutdown will engage if
any of the following occur:
• The motor is overheated from overuse.
• The surface is too steep, or the HOVERFLY ECO is tilted too much.
• The power source is low on energy, which means it’s time to charge
the HOVERFLY ECO.
STEP 4: MISSION COMPLETE
• Come to a complete stop by standing upright with your weight
evenly balanced.
• Step off quick and smoothly—one foot at a time.
• Press the power button to turn over your HOVERFLY ECO.
TIP:
Always board and exit from the back of your HOVERFLY
ECO.
To ensure your safety, it’s important to follow all local, state, and federal laws
and safety rules for your GOTRAX HOVERFLY ECO.
Remember that you are riding at your own risk, so it’s very important to
exercise caution. Follow all safety guidelines below—and in the user manual.
If you ever are in danger while riding the GOTRAX HOVERFLY ECO,
immediately contact the appropriate emergency services.
• Always wear a helmet, knee pads,
elbow pads, and gloves.
• Always check for damage before
operating your HOVERFLY ECO.
• Never exceed the 220 lb (100kg)
weight limit.
• Know follow local laws. Give way to
pedestrians.
• Never ride in icy or wet conditions.
• Don’t attempt tricks—or ride on
difficult terrain—without proper
preparation and safety precautions.
• Do not allow children under the age
of 16 to operate this product.
• Riders attempt tricks at their own
risk.

RIDING TIPS
• The hoverboard will perform best on smooth pavement.
• Never leave your hoverboard unattended during charging.
• Always clean your board, including the wheels, deck, and
undercarriage.
• Beaware of the terrain on which you are riding. Watch out for
changes in the pathway so that you avoid bumps and defects
in the surface.
