Outlet “Always On”
For this installation, do not remove
break-off tab on terminal. When wired
this way, the outlet will always be on
and the switch will control the equipment
connected to the
LOAD terminal.
Outlet “Controlled”
When wired this way,
the outlet will be controlled
by the attached switch. The
“break-off” tab must be removed.
Insert small screwdriver
and break this tab off
Then use a jumper
wire (small piece
of scrap wire) to
connect the load
to the bottom “hot”
terminal
