Place the rugged ice and frost edges against the glass at the

same time. Crack tough ice with the Ice edge and clear it away

with the Frost edge that follows right behind—to chip and clear

away ice in one motion.

Using The Better Ice Scraper

• Hold in the palm as illustrated.

In all cases, best results are

obtained when both the ice

chipping teeth and frost edge

contact the glass surface at the

same time.

• The Better Ice Scraper can be

moved back and forth across the

glass in any direction. Just make

sure when clearing thicker and

harder ice to impact solid ice ﬁrst

with the Ice teeth.

Remember these tips:

• DO NOT use scraper on painted surfaces

• DO NOT pound with or use scraper as a hammer

• DO NOT ram thick, hard ice with the frost edge—use the

ice teeth.

• For best chipping results with thick ice, use a corner ice tooth

to get chipping started. Then use normally to continue to chip

and clear away ice.

• KEEP YOUR WINDSHIELD CLEAR OF SAND AND GRIT.

Moving sand and grit over your windshield maycause

scratching. Use windshield washers often, especially before

parking your car, so the windshield is clean when ice and

frost form.
