Haba 301292 is a 10-15 minute exciting dice-matching game for 2-4 kung fu fighters ages 6 to 99. In this game, players try to collect the symbols that correspond to the rank and school of the kung fu fighters in order to defeat them. The higher the rank of the fighter, the more winning points a player can earn, but the harder it will be to defeat them. Players must use their memory skills to remember which symbols are on the face-down cards in order to be successful. Haba 301292 is a fun and challenging game that is perfect for family game night.

Kung Fu Dice

An exciting dice-match game

for 2 - 4 kung fu ﬁghters ages 6 to 99.

Length of the game: 10 to 15 minutes

It‘s time again for the best ﬁghters in the world to compete against

one another in the grand Kung Fu Super Cup. But don‘t let that

daunt you as you bravely enter the arena. Full of conﬁdence in the

power of dice, you try to collect exactly those symbols which are

required to defeat the various participants. The higher the rank of

your opponent (pupil, master or grand master) is, the more winning

points you can score, but that makes it all the harder to beat him/

her. To come off as the winner of a ﬁght, you also have to memo

rize which opponent is hiding under which card. The object of this

game is to have the most winning points at the end.

Preparation

Place the ﬁghting arena in the center of the table. Mix all the cards

and stack them face down next to the arena. Draw the top four

cards and place them face up in a row below the arena. Have the

dice ready.

Take a close look at the four face up cards: on each card there is a

ﬁghter with a speciﬁc rank (pupil, master or grand master). On the

bottom edge you will also ﬁnd the symbol of the kung fu school

which the respective ﬁghter represents in the competition (ﬂame,

waves or leaf). The larger the ﬁghter is depicted, the higher is his

rank and the greater is the number of symbols. The number of

points also corresponds to the winning points that a victorious ﬁght

is worth at the end.

Memorize the respective type and number of symbols on the face

up cards and then turn them over.

Game set-up:

How to Play

Play in a clockwise direction. The oldest player begins and lines up for

the ﬁrst kung fu ﬁght.

Roll all the dice. Try to remember which symbols are shown on

each of the face down cards. You want to collect the symbols of

a card exactly and, if possible, of a card with a high-ranking ﬁghter.

Important kung fu dice rules:

on an empty ﬁeld in the ﬁghting arena.

taken (not more than four times).

s¬ 4HE¬GOLDEN¬DRAGON¬IS¬A¬SYMBOL¬OF¬FORTUNE¬

You can use it in two different ways:

¬ You can either use exactly one as a wild

card for a random symbol. (A second

or third dragon is useless in this case.)

¬ You manage to roll four dragons. Then you can beat any

face down ﬁghter (see 2nd phase: Great dragon fortune).

2nd phase: challenging to ﬁght

with your collected symbols. Turn over one of the four cards lying

in the center of the table. Compare the symbols on the dice with

those on the card:

Super, you have won this kung fu ﬁght! Take the card and place

it face up in front of you.

Then draw a card from the stack, show the ﬁghter depicted on

it to everyone and then place it face down in a free space in

the row of cards.

Too bad, you‘ll have better luck next time for sure! Turn over

the card again once all of the other players have seen it.

Great dragon fortune

If a golden dragon is visible on all four dice in the arena, you must

say which ﬁghter (pupil, master, grand master) and which symbol

(ﬂame, waves or leaf) is on the card before your turn it over! You

will get the card as a reward only if you say both correctly.

End of the Game

Once a player gets his/her fourth card, it is the following player‘s turn

to roll the dice again. Then the game is over.

.OW¬EVERY¬PLAYER¬ADDS¬UP¬ALL¬THE¬SYMBOLS¬ON¬THE¬BOTTOM¬EDGE¬OF¬THE¬

cards he/she won (1 symbol = 1 winning point). The player with the

most winning points is the winner of the Kung Fu Super Cup. If there

is a tie, then there is more than one winner.

Tip for young kung fu ﬁghters:

The game is easier if you keep the cards placed below the ﬁghting

arena face up instead of face down during the whole game.
