BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Taketheapplianceandaccessoriesoutthebox.Removethe

stickers,protectivefoilorplasticfromthedevice.

• Putthepowercableintothesocket.(Note:Makesurethe

voltagewhichisindicatedonthedevicematchesthelocalvoltage

beforeconnectingthedevice.Voltage220V-240V50/60Hz)

• Beforeusingyourapplianceforthefirsttime,wipeoffallremovable

partswithadampcloth.Neveruseabrasiveproducts.

• Placetheapplianceonastable,drysurface,andawayfromheat

sources.

• Makesurethepowerswitchisoffwhenyouplugtheapplianceintoan

earthedpowersocket.

• Pressthepowerswitchtoturnontheappliance(thelightwillburn).

• Turnthethermostatclockwisetothehighestsettingandallowthe

deviceheatingatleast5minuteswithoutfood.

• Whenthedeviceisturnedonforthefirsttime,aslightodorwilloccur.

Thisisnormal,ensureadequateventilation.Thisfragranceisonly

temporaryandwilldisappearsoon.

• Waitfortheplatetoheatupbeforeputtingfoodonit.

USE

Use of the grill plate

• Greasethegriddleandthepanswithoil.

• Donotuseanythingmetal,toavoiddamagingthenon-stickcoating.

• Whenyouputyourfoodonthegriddle,makesureyouwillturnitregularly.

• Smallpiecesofmeatand/orfishcookquickerthanbigpieces.

• Donotpiercethemeat;thismakesitlosesomeofitsjuicesandsome

ofitsflavour.

• Duringcooking,anybitsoffoodleftbehindshouldberemoved

immediatelytopreventthemfromstickingontotheplate.

• Neverputfrozenfoodonthegrillplate,theheatshockcoulddamage

theplate.

• Placethepans,withfoodinside,onthereflectivesurface,underthe

grillplate.Neverputanemptypanunderthegrillplate.

• Thepanscanalsobeusedtocookmeat,provideditiscutthin.

• Neverputthepanontopofthegrillplateduringuse.Nevermovethe

grillplatewithhandswhenstillhot,youcouldgetburned.

Use of the grill stone

• Placethegrillstonewiththeshinysideuponthecarriage.Neverplace

thecoldstoneonapreheateddevice.

• Neverputfoilorsomethingbetweenthegrillstoneandtheheating-

element.

• Neverpreheatthedeviceforlongerthan30minutes;thegrillstonewill

betoohotforoptimaluse.

• Itisadvisabletogreasethegrillstonewithvegetableoillightlyand

sprinkleitwithsomesaltafterpreheating,itreducesthestickingon

thegrillstone.

• Neverputfrozeningredientsonthehotgrillstone.

• Duringheatingminorcracksmayariseinthestonegrill,itisbythe

naturalexpansionofthestone.Theyhavenoeffectonthefunctioning

ofthedevice.

• Ifthedeviceisusedafewtimes,thestonegetsapermanentdarkcolor.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Beforecleaning,unplugtheapplianceandwaitfortheapplianceto

cooldown.

• Wipetheinsideandtheedgesoftheappliancewithapapertowelor

asoftcloth.

• Donotcleantheinsideoroutsidewithanyabrasivescouringpador

steelwoolasthiswilldamagethefinish.

• Donotimmersetheapplianceinwateroranyotherliquid.

dependingonthedegreeofporosity,onestoneabsorbsmorewater

thantheother.Astoneimmersedinwatercanbreakwhenitisheated

duringthenextuse.

• Neverimmersethehotorcoldstoneinwater.Washthefullycooled

stonewithlukewarmwaterandcleanitwithascouringpad.Dry

thoroughly.

• Avoidusingdetergentsandothercleaningproducts.

• Thegrillstoneisnotdishwashersafe.
