Location
1. Select a place with a strong, level floor.

refrigerator and any adjacent wall_

The refrigerating system In this refrigerator is a "Frost
Free" systam.Thts type of system requires no user
intervention (too defrosting) other than selecting required
cooling temperatures and the usual care and

To avoid vibration, the cabinet must be set level, This is
accomplished by adjusting the (2) front leveling legs
located under the refrigerator cabinet
The refrigerator temperature witi vary depending on the
quantity of the food stored and on the frequency with
which the door is opened.

1. To access the lower hinge assembly, tilt beck the
refrigerator cabinet or lay the refrigerator on its back.
(Fig, A)
2, Remove both leveling legs located at the fronl of the
cabtnel
3, Remove the screws holding the lower hinge assembly
to Iha cabinet. (Fig A)
4, Remove the freezer door assembly from the
refdgeratar cabinet, (open door and pufl down)
5, Remove the worktop to access and disconnect the
wiring harness connectors (2) from the control panel
wiring, (Fig B)
6. Remove the screws from the mtddle hinge assembry
Then remove the hinge end main door,
7, Remove (unscrew) the top hinge pln. (Fig, D)
8, Rednstall the fresh food door lop hinge pln on the
opposite side of the cabinet, (Fig D)
9, Remove the door plugs and door bushings located on
the top and bottom of each door assembly,
10. insert the detached control panel connectors into
the cavity (where the bushing was removed) on the
right side of the trash food door_
11. Extract the left side control panel connectors from
the left side cavity (where the plug was removed) of
the fresh food door and reconnect to the matn wtdng
harness - while to white, black to bieck
12, Re-Install worktop,
13, Interchange poslUons of plugs and bushings on both
doors, (is door pfug right side, door bushing left side)
14. Re,install main door assembly on cabinet,
15. Re.thstall the middle hinge assembly on the
opposite side, (Fig C)
16. Make sure the door assembly isproperly aUgned on
the cabinet, before tightening hinge screws
17. Rednetall freezer door assembly on cabinet.
18. Re-tnstaU the lower hinge assembly on the opposite
side_Making sure to change bushing and screw on
oppostta sides on bottom ot unit
19. Make sure the door assembly ts properly aligned on
the cabinet, before lightening lower hinge sorews_
20. Rs-thstall both leveling legs,
The process is now complete,

To replace the refrigerator Ilght bulbs;
1, Remove the lop two shelves from the cabinet°
2, Remove the screw from the upper portion of the
light bulb cover,
3. Pull the iIghl bulb cover outward to remove ]t_
4, Unscrew the bulb(s),
5- Replace with a 120V/15 Watt bulb onlF

and Fahrenheit(°F)
The LCD screen displays the current'cab{net
temperaturefor boththe fresh food & freezer compar-
tments simultaneously.Bydefault, the temperatures are
displayed In Fahrenheit ("F). To display the temperature
in Celsius (°C), press the Toggle button Q once, Each
press of the Toggle button wil!cyclethe display between
the two temperature display optlons, tn low light
situations you can activatethe back lightwithout
modifying the temperaturedisplayed by pressing the
or = buttons.
Setting the Thermostat
The defaultthermostat setting for the freshfood
compartment is41°F (5=C) and 5°F(-15°C) for the
freezer compartment, Ifhowever you find these setttngs
inappropriate for your cooling requirements, the
temperature canbe adjustedas needed from 36"F (2"C)
through 50°F (10"C) inthe fresh food compartmentand
0°F (-18"C)through IO°F (-12°C) in the freezer
compartmenL
To adjustthe temperature, firstly select the compartment
you would like to modtf_ by pressing either the "_ for
the fresh food area, or _ for the freezer area. Once a
compartment has been setectsd, the back lightwill
Wumtnateand the displayed temperature will flash,
s{gnlfylng which compartment'stemperature you have
selectedto modify, Each press of the _ (raise
temperature) or '= (Jowertemperature) buttons on the
controlpad wiltraise or lower the temperature by
Increments of one degree. Once the temperature you
requirehas been defined,thetemperaturedisplay will
cease to flash and the back IFghtwillturn off, dlsplaylng
the current cabinet temperatures once again.
In the event of a power interruption, your
temperature settings are retained and then restored
once the power resumes°
*Please note: To modify the temperature setting, you
must push the appropriate adjustment button one time
for every 1" you want to increase or decrease, The
temperature cannot be adjusted by continually holding
down the button
The Defrost Cycle
The DefrostCycle isautomatically activated every 12
hoursto maintaina "Frost Free"environmentinsideyour
refrigerator compartments,If thefresh food and/or
freezer compartmentsare opened frequantly for
extendedperiodsoftime, the frost can accumulate
ratherquickly, toavoid thisyou shouldonly openeither
cabinetwhenabsolutely needed and only for a bdef
period of time.
Ice Cube Tray

If the Ice cubetrayIsfrozen hard to the evaporator
surface,runa littlewater over the tray° Never use a
knifeor other metal instrumentto remove ice cube tray
becausethis maydamage the evaporator. (Fig.D)
Power Failure
Most power failures arecorrectedwithinan hour or two
and willnot affect your refrigerator temperatures.
However, you should minimize the number of door
openings while the power Isoff. During powerfailures
oflonger duration, take steps to protect your food by
placing dry iceon top of packages.

Cooling System
Thisrefrigerator isinclusiveof e "frost free" type cooling
system,whichmeans you neverhave todefrostthe
freezer compartment.Defrosting Is done automatically
by means of a defrost heatingelement and a defrost
timerfactory programmedto operate (cycle)
approximately everyBhours.The defrostwater is routed
intoa defrostpan locateddirectlyabove the compressor
from where it evaporatas_
Cleaning
Before cleaningthe refrigeratoror freezer, always
disconnectthe refrigeratorfromthe powersupply. To
cleanthe inside,use a soft clothand a solution ofa
tablespoon of baking sodatoone quart ofwater, or a
mild soapsudssolution,or some mild detergent. Wash
ice cubetray,drip tray, and glide out shelves tn a mlld
detergent solution, then dry and wipe with a soft cloth_
Cleanthe outside with a soft damp clothand soma mild
detergent or appliance cleaner.
Setting the Thermostat
The thermostatsetting can be adjustedfrom #1
(minimum setting) through Maximum (coldest setting)
We recommend setting the thermostat at # 4 (medEum
cofling) if however you find this setting Inappropriate for
your cooling requirements, adjustas needed by rotating
the thermostat dial.The thermostat dlaI ts located on the
front top section of the refrigerator compartmantoThe
thermostat controlstemperature forboth the freezer and
refrigerator compartments.
Vacation"rime
Forshortvacationperiods,leave the controlknob at the
usual setting. During longerabsences;
(a) remove allfoods,
(b) disconnect from electrical outlet,
(c) dean the refrigerator thoroughly, Including
defrost pan,
(d) leave door open to avoid possible formations of
condensate, mold or odors.
If You Move
Removeor securely fastendownall loose itemsInside
the refrigerator. To avoid damaging the leveling legs,
turn them all the way intothe base.
Some Important Rules for the
Correct Use of the Refrigerator
Never place hotfoods In the refrigerator.
Beverages should be stored In sealedcontainers.
Foods to be stored for a longtime shouldbe wrapped
in cellophane orpolyethylene, or kept inglass
containers. Never place spoiled foods Inthe cabinet.
Don't overloadthe cabinet..
Don't open the door unlessnecessary.
Should the rsfdgerator be stored without use for long
periods tt ts suggested,after acarefulcleaning,to
leave the doorajar to allow the air to circulateInside
the cabinetIn ordertoavoid possible formations of

The tray at the bottom of the refrigeratorls covered to
retain moisture. The crispercompartment will enable

"damper" control(while slider) located on the front of the
drawer.
