Description:
Cooper Wheelock’s Explosion Proof Relays are precision built
of extremely rugged materils for long, trouble-free life in hazard-
ous and diffi cult enviornmentjs. Designed primarily for telephone
systems, they sense low voltage AC or DC and switch 115 and
220 volts AC at 60 Hz or 115 volts DC with contact arrangement;
single-pole, normally open, double A (double make in parallel).
The XRT-T-40 has a 0.45 microfared blocking capacitor in series
with the coil and a one megohm resistor across the capacitor.
The XRT-T-40 is FCC registered.
The XRT Explosion Proof Relay is designed to switch high (115
or 220) voltage using low voltage, such as ringing current in
telephone systems, as the controlling voltage. These units can
switch devices controlled by low current controlling systems.
The units are easy to handle and install, and provide convenient
access to coil and contact terminals.
