Introduction
CAUTION: Keep hands out of paper trays when closing.
All trays must be closed when moving the printer.
Load paper trays
NOTE: To avoid paper jams:
Never add or remove paper from the tray during printing.
Before loading the tray, remove all of the paper from the input tray and straighten the stack.
When loading the tray, do not fan the paper.
Use paper that is not wrinkled, folded, or damaged.
Input tray
Load media with the top forward and the side to be printed on facing up. To prevent jams and skewing, always
adjust the side media guide.
NOTE: When you add new media, make sure that you remove all of the media from the input tray and
straighten the entire stack. This helps prevent multiple sheets of media from feeding through the product at one
time, reducing media jams.
