Insertion and Removal
To insert, slide the device into cradle (1).
Correct device fixation is indicated by
click sound of the lock mech
anism.
To remove the device from the cradle,
first press Lock Release Button (2).

To remove Battery pack from the device
unscrew battery lock screw (1)
lift the battery lock lever in direction shown
(2) and release battery pack from the device
(3).
To insert Battery Pack, align the tabs
of Battery Pack with guides in the battery
pack compartment and click-in Battery Pack
(4).

Insertion and Removal
To attach the device with Plug, turn
Plug Strap on the side (1), slide the Plug
into the device (2) and turn back Plug Strap
into original position (3)
To detach the device from the Plug turn
Plug Strap on the side (4), press upper lock
button with fingers (5) and remove the Plug

Insertion and Removal
Remove battery pack from the device and
slide the miniSD card into card slot
To remove miniSD card from the slot,
lightly press the card and release.
(card slot is push/push type)
Belt Loop, Neck Stripe
Insertion and Removal
To attach Neck strap or Belt Loop to Plug
slide in clip
To detach, press button on the clip (1)
and remove it from the clamp (2)
Power:
Orange LED - device is being charged,
when connected to the external power.
Green LED- device is fully charged,
when connected to the external power.
WLAN status:
Orange LED flashes, when connecting
to the network.
Orange LED is ON, when connected.

to switch device Suspend/Run.
Reset Button
if a reset is needed
SOFT reset - shortly press the reset button
Performing Soft Reset, all your data in RAM
memory will be erased. All running programs
will be closed.
HARD reset - press the reset button
for a 3 sec.
Performing Hard Reset, all your data in RAM
memory and RAM file system will be erased.
Also the registry settings will be restarted
to factory settings.

1. Charge the HRC-3100
On delivery the HRC-3100 is in
Power off mode. Therefore before using
the device it is necessary to charge it
via an external power source.

from www.microsoft.com
